  1. hi ian who u working for i need a GOOD climber around yaxley area mate

    iv bin offered a job and cant do it as iv got to much work lol so told the bloke i would find a good

    its a sycamore so ent the easiest reduction to do

    i ent had a look at it but the TO said it can only have a 15-20 % reduction so would say it is a big ish tree

    the climber ent got to clean up as the bloke that will be employing will do that

    so if u want to make 150 a day let me no or do u no a good freelance climber

  3. pm spudulike see what he has in stock i would rather buy a 2nd hand good saw of him than pay silly money for new rubbish he has some nice saws husq 357 346 stihl 026 340 etc

    Not shore with out looking but I think u might find the stroke to be different If so then no not with out machining the base off the Cyl
  10. as spud knows i done alot of work on a 046 chinese pot to make it run (not saying where i got it from) but the squish was all over the place the bottom of the pot was not square i measured the internal depth of the pot, form the base of the pot to the inside top of the squish with a internal depth micrometer i cant remember how much the carb port was out to the EX port but it was quit a bit i machined about 2.5mm off the base to get the squishdown to 0.7 and that ent where it stopped
  11. Sounds like it will be a waiting game When I phone Hdc up they ask for post code number of the house and what tree or trees I'm looking at reducing removing etc The site plan of that house shows where the tpo trees are in the garden or close by So can't see how a TO can get it so wrong

I as a contractor i always check with the TO myself At the end of the day if it's my contract I see it as it fulls on my shoulders And if its Huntingdon in Cambs the TO is a helpfull bloke U will have to play the waiting game and see what happens Have u got anything the TO said in writing or email Ps it can't be as bad the amount of big trees they are having out in godmanchester

  17. Solo 161 that was a nice machine the main dealer is only in st neots
  18. dad is on this 3rd im on my 1st we have had no problems with them reckon they last about 3-4 year the cutters will brake if ur trying to do things with it that they ent design for iv given mine some stick like noring at branchs because i cant be bothered to go get a saw and my cutters are still good iv never had any problems with tanakas they ent design for really rough stuff as the cutter width will tell u i had a demo machine of a solo trimmer now i thought that was a reall good rough cut machine big time see if i can find it

  22. iv had a ago on a 880 and i cant see the 3120 being as good unless i was to send it to spud to port
  23. thats what is going to happen with the tree one of the council approved contracters will have a look at the tree ed chipped the tree with this little wee chipper last pic is my choice of saw to do the job
  24. it is a shame as u no people get scared when such a big limb fails in a public place and i assume hse and insurance will be the down fall to this tree
