  2. un like agg221 I don't have as much patience:001_tt2::lol: bin tryin to get hold of u (we have worked together) I do like agg221 way of splitting the trunk down the middle (I do this now) when I can the only thing I like about setting up is after that first cut and opening the trunk open to see what colours are in the wood

  6. it all takes time I hate setting up it gets easier and quicker the more u do the better/ quicker u get another good bit of kit and I wont leave home with out it when milling is Products for the category: 12 volt grinders
  7. granberg ripping chain I find the best for milling this is chestnut on granberg chain smooth cut and BIG J said most of what I would have said oh and rod D do these Products for the category: Metal detection

  9. lol it would have bin fine mate if i ent fell asleep it come out 20mins later than it should have :lol: got another in the oven now funny i was talking to dad today as he poped over to have a look at his saw and take it we was taliking about the 441 and 660 saying that they will be sitting under the bench now i have the 2 ported husqs as spare and i think u no what saw is next lol

  11. I bet with a bit of running in I would beat a standered 660 with that ported 372 I will run it in a put it against mine to prove a point :-) Oh and that cake look a little over cooked ;-)

  13. i must say i was impressed with that little 346 that was really dry (hard elm) should have run peters 660 against the 372 would have beat it :thumbup1:

  17. If ur just cutting grass eg after mowing the grass to trim the edges up star line is the best there is If u want to cut longer grass weeds etc u want to be looking at cord in the 3.5-4 mm range Oregon Starline strimmer line 2.4mm | F R Jones and Son

  19. Try grandberg chain bit more pricy but a better chain IMO Seams to cut better and a bit quicker
  20. nice vid there mate i enjoyed it 2 things (1)try to not rock the saw in the cut u get a much better finish (i try to run my mill a 10 degrees to the trunk so the nose is just in front or just behind the drive wheel ) hope that makes sence 2 when u leave the cut rock the nose or the dog side out first so the front and back rail still stay on the wood helps to keep the cut straight and what chain u using im not putting a downer on ur vid as i would like a vid of my work like that just try to help u out a bit cheers martin
