The arbor trolly is good rob that's another blokes after using it to drag timber out I'm going to buy one its so easy rob If u ent got time to mill a whole trunk into slabs and say u 1/4 it u can slide the 1/4er onto the trolly and get them out of site easy depending on the size of the trunk lol I would say u could 1/4 a 3ft trunk and move it It's the easiest way to date of moving timber i no and well worth the money

Rob D on here he sells the Alaskan mate He sells the bars to and as for ripping chain I would buy grandberg chain bit more pricy but I think u get a better finish and it cuts a bit faster This is his site Chainsawbars ? chainsaw chains, chainsaw bars and chainsaw accessories He gives a good service and is a help bloke to talk to if ur just starting up very help full

  9. i would buy a 372 and have it ported mate cole i got a 441 had a 046 and have played with husq 372 and have one i think i would buy a 372 anyday and have it ported mate that what i would say is ur best choice

  12. ash mate and i think there is 1 pic in there of a 15ft lenght of oak i will dig them pics out and put them on here in about 10 mins this is the oak from my chainsaw mill

  14. u have a nice set up mate iv only a chainsaw mill some elm i done in a back garden where i could not get the trunks out in one bit elm

  17. just looks like a jo-beau m400 i see them at the APF and if u sat the 2 side by side u would not find to many diffrences and if it works as well as r m400 it will be a good machine

  20. Yeh horse chestnut mate the one I was tell u about on Tuesday Pointless I think I called it I'm happy with the way it come out a bit surprised
  21. it was running well for most the day alec i was quit happy to see it working after selling it the other one out of the 2 done alot of cross cutting today so that one works now to so i have 3 milling saws that work
  22. whats up with the 076 mate and the 070 i had to wash my 076 carb out after tuesday milling got it home and would not start cleaned the carb and it run 3-1/2 hours today fine
  23. the butt was 5ft. shot though out of the whole tree them to bits where the only 2 worth milling the wood behaved just used 5 wedges 1 in the end where i started the cut and 4 down the lenght mate it cut easier than i thought it would its not my wood just got payed to mill it
  24. did u get a before pic mate i think that is one of the best big reductions iv seen in a while mate top job + we had a good :lol: about u and a bucket of water in a beech tree something to do with a fire where we milled the ash up
