  1. Yes. get in touch if you want a look sometime.
  2. Here's a link… Bargam S.p.A. - Sprayer Machine - polverizzatori - nebulizzatori - atomizzatori - sprayers - pulverisateurs - feldspritze - atomiseur - mist blower - atomizer - atomizadores - pulverizadores - sprgerte - automoteur Call 01361 883418 for details.
  3. My dad imports Bargam ones from italy, I have one on my BCS its reverse drive 1.5m width, it handles brash up to 3" and makes a nice job on grass too. I'll put a link up if I can.
  4. I found it 10m up a beech a couple of years ago, no evidence at ground level, the decay was extensive too. Thats the only time i have seen it at hight too
  5. Says who? I have ridden the hook before, if the crane is lolered for carrying people in a basket then it is lowered for carrying a man in a harness so long as the harness is lolered too.
  6. I have a reverse drive flail on my alpine, if you want a look at it some time get in touch, the hammers will take a fair bit of punishment...
  7. I put the grapple through the door on mine the other day, likely just the wee window. I was trying to ease it past a tree that was very close, working at full revs as I was chipping at the time, makes the crane a little twitchy. I've smashed the back lights too when holding really big stuff close in….
  8. I'd rather have a 40 yo who turned up on time and didn't take sickies than a 20 yo who thinks its ok to just not turn up some days.
  9. pic didn't upload off my phone this morning for some reason, here it is, we didn't do it in the end, got called away to a more urgent one..
  10. I know a guy who did it for a while, it was bottom dollar as far as I remember, £1 a bag I think. I reckon if you were just doing softwood and buying in biomass grade processor sized sticks and had a slick processor and staff you might be able to make it pay. maybe.
  11. I'm 40 next week, Not sure if I'd want to be starting out now but I reckon I could still manage it, but we're all different, some are naturally talented and some will never be any good, most of us will be somewhere in between.
  12. Remember it takes time to get experienced, 3 years to be competent, 5 years to be good and 10 years to be experienced IMHO. so if you start at 40 you may only be reaching your peak at 50, which is fine as long as your body holds out.

    Channel Trailer

Really enjoyed that Reg. Happy Christmas!
  14. That dog looks sprung ready for action Stevie, how did you get it to sit still?
  15. Not tried the 540, but my 201 is total gutless crap.
  16. As its the springs that disengage the clutch, and the centrifugal force that engages it the weaker the springs are the harder the clutch ought to bite… Are the plates / drum glazed?
  17. Are the light weight ones just as strong as the solid design Rob? If so I might take a 28" husky mount for my 385.
  18. I bought one of these... having broken a succession of watches and lived without one for years I decided to splash out on something with a bombproof reputation. Same guts as a fancy swiss watch, Brietling Tag etc but encased in a teutonic shell (and much cheaper too). Water resistant to a kilometre so ought to be tough. Here's hoping! I just wish it would arrive, they make them to order and that was 3 months ago.
  19. Its a nice looking system, I have been thinking about a bio boiler for a while, however for me the big attraction is the RHI payments, it makes no sense without. Why not sell the units and make your money that way?
  20. Quality. I really want a wee digger, sooo handy.
  21. The category of the tree as per 5837 is irrelevant as the tree was not owned by the developer. As is the presence of fungi, only an expert can determine whether the tree is safe or not, so the developer can not use the fungi as an excuse. The lack of tree protection measures for the duration of the building works is a clear contravention of the planning conditions, which should be available for all to see on the planning portal anyway.
  22. With the tree so close to the boundary the root protection zone (which would have been part of the planning consent) would have extended well into the development site, at a guess from the pic 10-15m. The developer should have had a tree protection fence along the edge of the zone to prevent any damage to the root system. This would appear not to have happened.
