  16. Im at college as some of you may know and im really keen to start with a tree surgeons company before i finish college but im having trouble finding someone that will entertain me can anyone give me advise on how i can make myself more interesting so too speak, i have cs 30 and cs 38 i know its not much but its a start and im keen to get some experience while still learning and i think it will make a difference when looking for a job when i finish college. Im starting to ramble now so ill stop there. Hpe that makes sence. If you could possibly give me some advise that would be great or if anyone knows of any companies in scotland looking it would be much appraciated. cheers guys
  17. interesting video i must say a few pointers there to look out for. haha
  18. Cheers for the advise guys im back up the woods on monday so ill try some of the methods mentioned and ill let you know how i get on. I think the poles in the garden is a good idea (better then my first plan which was to find a forest and cut some trees down asked a few folk about that and they said no) as long as folk dont mind me digging up the garden but im sure they wont. As for ppe i always wear it still have a vison of a video i seen where a guy is using a saw without any and lets say he will never make that mistake again this vison scares **** out of me everytime i lift a saw.
  19. so just so i get this right, the guy went round four or five different people and ended up back at the first couple of you that started the job? or did i read that completely wrong?
  20. that would be an epic job to be involved in but the film will do me fine would be good to see pros at work maybe even pick up some tips

  22. my back cut is usually too high or too low i cant seem to find and even middle. and usually the hing im left with is to thin at one side and too big at the other just a wee note my spellign sucks
  23. i know ive just started felling and im just doing training for it but jeezo the said safely take down a tree but when he cut it he ran like hell hmmmmmmmmm that seems safe to me
  24. haha only thing i can think of saying is trust garry to find that
