  1. done that. mouldy logs for sure. no substitute for air flow. and blowing air and or heating aint cheap. using 60l/day with my simple setup when humidity is below 85/90 %
  2. same response i got some time ago. anyhow, wilsons have or had one in stock £3500
  3. Go on then. Name and shame em.
  4. Very similar to the economics of firewood production.??? The majority need to get a calculator, new batteries and basic maths. Most haulage firms run at a loss, tesco, stobart, wincanton, tibbet&brittain, and make their money on the distribution centres/cold stores.. Much the same as tree surgeons selling logs below cost/value for beer money or like job ernshaws ^something for the lads to do in the yard^
  5. burley stove, Modern Fire Surrounds,Traditional Fire Surrounds,Fire Surrounds UK burn sawdust and chip arisings from underneath the processor, stored in ordinary bulk bags in shed for 6 mths, more logs to sell.
  6. iam looking too. one to go behind the old major and one for the fastrac on the road. how much u wanting steve ?
  7. i hope not... why should they subsidise your heating bills by selling below cost. but iam sure an idiot will be along soon.
  8. er,? derbyshire is a fairly big county. give us a clue. or fill in your location ???
  9. well...??? are you quiting the game or upsizeing..?? £75/m3 ?? does trailer have 1/2 m3 sections saw you up millhouses road last year. cheers bob
  10. if i am not mistaken , and just checked, its £1,000,000 maty. can not believe that no one on here knows of one and can read and write, will try large"s tomorrow, but last year they could not supply a new log deck for my old 37,so got a bgu. cheers bob,
  11. put an ad on classifieds, anyone seen it. surely someone must know of one in the nettles some where.?
  12. have put 600t through mine in last 18 mths. had hakki pilke 37 before this. good machine. but no reverse on infeed belt no splitter activation pedal no gap in splitter trough to allow sawdust to fall through. and now get contaminated sticks and smalls. nice wide open throat to get oversize and twisty bits in, better than hp37. spoke to mr perry at apf, uninterested and walked off. i did have a shower with soap the previous evening....???? the only other machines worth considering to handle hardwoods that are being harvested by machine or hand at this time are the sami autochop from fuelwood or the dalen. all the other manufacturers produce good processors for straight timber only. i also have a bgu sp20 evolution log splitter for the oversize that enevitably comes on the artics.good machine also, hyd lift table ect. its for sale as i sell the oversize now as dont have the time. its only done 110 hrs work. sharpening.? 25t or 2or3 days on timber from clay soils or twice daily for timber from sandy areas. also chain stops when bar upright not cutting and really good chain oil pump.no wasteage. anything else, give me a ring or pm me or post. cheers bob.

  19. done it. can you all reciprocate please, and another facebook page may open...?
  20. a good day out, thanks to wilsons for demo ing the posch range. highlighted their strengths and weaknessess. The botex productionline very impressive. and ability to see side by side with patu trailers and the cheaper cranes in the yard. no shortcuts in the timber game. selling at £60 m3 is suicide. but nice for the burner. theres nothing easy with timber, apart from the 360"s with the lasco splitters.
  21. Please Please do your maths. take a good look at "certainly wood" they are doing 18,000t a year or so they say. £145/m3 profitable and sustainable. anything less than £100/m3 for us small timers is suicide.
