  1. bins just sit on the pallets round bale net wrap £100-150 a roll ,chainsawed in half £1 a wrap for 2 m3 pallett 100t or 200t of logs on a pile, either inside or out just will not dry and season even after 2 years. and after last years summer of rain i do not want to have to build another kiln, gobbling 80l diesel a day.

  3. As ed says,,,, but inside the valve block is a spring and ball bearing. Mine did it when stalled ram and moved lever to slow on a knotty bit. Somehow the spring and ball rotate around by 90" take it apart and reassemble correctly and hey presto.

  6. WHAT............???? £43.75/m3 when a fresh cut artic load of machine harvested hardwood is £32/m3 inc vat 20%. £54/t are my maths correct nick channer.?? interesting to see if some fool buys/bids. in watch list.
  7. older hp37, new ones have different gaurding ,bent & twisti timber........... bgu 37 the dalen get a heavy duty log deck, binderburger,fuelwood three rail, or have one made, the hp ones are too flimsey
  8. As above, with particular regard to firewood processor use. Sugihara ? Husky type mount ? 3/8 15" bgu 37. Also toying with idea of narrower blade and chain different sprocket, can i get different drive sprocket for bgu , asked perry at apf and got no response. Thoughts anyone,,,?

  12. seem fairly solid 2 m3 wilsons smilsons...........slow to respond and no other users in uk...as simon munrow failed to supply any details... quoted...packfix hydro and two bins £5000. same in germany E4000, so £3300...18 mth two year old machines. was going to go skiing in pickup and trailer and fetch one. but got local fabricator to knock one up. did 6 on sat/sun then been delivering all day today. hopefully will not have to kiln dry logs next year in grain shed. but this year might not be as wet anyhow.....????????? but folk still buying wet cr.p at £40 and complaining that their stove glass is black and no heat, these wood stoves are no good, iam reliably informed. the germans and austrians are placing a plastic sheet on top of netwrap pallets to stop snow and rain havnt logged any timber since aug,just playing with dry logs.will post a vid when start cutting 2014 logs this next week or so. or might net 2013 logs off heaps and see how dry we can get em. sub 16%, around 18% off heaps in a normal year.

  19. what price what quantity. did you refuse at 40% ??? have plenty at 18-20% 2 yr split and seasoned, bit too far for me thou .
