I've become too accustomed to being paid handsomely for my lofty games to change now mate! The more I charge, the more I get to enjoy my semiretirement! Even my boys are paid to play games, but at least losing their lunch is the most dangerous risk they take. I do see a future where tethered anthropoidal robots actually prune or remove trees via remote control by an experienced climber, in a full body harness control room at home, or van onsite. I see huge potential for VR headset use for job training purposes, not just first row concert perspectives as the red hot chili peppers perform live. Jomoco

I've always done a little please forgive me ritual before slaughtering big beautiful magnificent live trees. Even catch meself doin on two year dead live oaks! So it's now Halloween, I was about to unwrap things gently to see if my ruse had worked? When my inner Ent whispered in my ear that I was being hasty and unconvincing. Then the phone conversation I'd had over twenty years ago with Dick Harris about his childhood orchard days n ways sprang to mind. The practice of semi girdling the trunks of old n unproductive fruit trees, interrupting phloem flow downwards, so it can be shifted over to fruit production. Or in my case root formation. Kinda like tellin that trunk it's do or die time, cuz soon I'm gonna cut you off entirely! A bit draconian no doubt, but it's a cruel world at times. Two weeks from now I'll girdle it completely, and see if the green top dies.

If your country's govt is too weak to strike the fear of god into the multinational corps, to keep them ethically and morally honest, what will prevent them from doing whatever they can buy or get away with? Why's it so friggin impossible these days to report both sides of any given story objectively? It's by no means impossible, in fact it used to be law for the US MSM media outlets wishing to retain their FCC broadcasting licenses! I'd love to see an American or British poll asking its citizens how they'd react to a Communist occupation of their country by vastly superior force of arms, an ability to rub you out from the sky at will? How would you feel about your fellow citizens who aided and abetted the occupying forces? Would you too use any means at your disposal to resist the invaders of your country? Jomoco

Ganoderma lucidum's been used by the Chinese medicinally since Eden, tea extracts powdered etc. But Armalaria mellea tea? Could be fatal for you n your tree both? Certainly has a very unappetizing aroma! Apparently it's only mildly poisonous eaten raw, but considered a delicacy in Ukraine n Germany when properly cooked n prepared! Jomoco

Running bowline's superior for repeated light vertical trunk section speed lining. Light n easy at the start mate. It's real easy to get in trouble askin too much.

If you're asking which knot used to anchor the speedline to the tree? A clove hitch with a timber hitch lock, just like I use to anchor a pulley block. On the piece being zipped? A girth hitch using a nylon loop n steel biner. Like in this vid mate. Jomoco
