  1. Those dam mortgages! Moosie On my Samsung Note - It's big, but it's good
  2. As treequip says , scissor lifts don't do it, also I doubt you got 4/5 ton of chip on, maybe 2.5-3 ton max. I've had scissor lifts and I had to get a hi-lift jack just to get it to start, then it would take it the rest of the way. If I have a really heavy load on my Iveco, then a little of the old reverse and slam the brakes on whilst pressing the lift button usually get's results.
  3. Don't know if this helps you but I seem to need to hit the arbtalk button in my bookmarks bar about 3 times to get your site up. The first 2 times and I get error messages and no website.
  4. If your a good climber, and I mean really good, why don't you go out as a self employed contract climber.

  12. Yes, but I don't feed it through the loop first, just straight back up. I just checked it on google and it says it's as good as a figure of eight
  13. I always send the tail back up through the first loop where the line comes into the knot, this has never come undone and it keeps the tail out of the karabiners. I did have a couple of issues with the knot undoing itself if I didn't stop knot it. I can post a picture if people want.
  14. Go pro 3 coming out soon! Moosie On my Samsung Note - It's big, but it's good
  15. Cheers David, I think it's Pear rust as it had those things coming out of the blisters on the underside (which looked like mites, but definitely weren't)
  16. Found this on a pear, could some one tell me what it is and is it curable and if so how! Cheers
  17. I know of someone on here who can still put the oil and petrol in the wrong holes on a Stihl even though they claim to be a "don't tell me, I'm professional with 16 years experience", o, and then deny it, even though they were the only person on site!
  18. They can't refuse the fell without putting a TPO on the trees, if that helps. Just get them down better to deal with it after they have been felled :-)
  19. I think it's a case of getting the old table salt out again, for poisoning the stumps! Archives of Toxicology, Volume 86, Number 5 - SpringerLink And if you can't be bothered to read it, a quick synopsis: Monsanto's Roundup is toxic to human DNA even when diluted to concentrations 450-fold lower than used in agricultural applications Glyphosate (G) is the largest selling herbicide worldwide; the most common formulations (Roundup, R) contain polyoxyethyleneamine as main surfactant. Recent findings indicate that G exposure may cause DNA damage and cancer in humans.
  20. I'm sure someone on here weighed their truck with tools and operatives but without a load on... and it was overweight!
