  1. i used to do alot of suby work for my old boss all around london mostly st johns wood and Hampstead. He done the 1st garden around 2 years ago then i done the 2nd garden a year ago then he must have done the 3rd garden recentley. The trees are all in small gardens all been done before the 3 i done. we must have have taken 60ft out of them.
  2. hi monkeyd i actually done them 3 trees in the middle about a year ago. the trees are in cricklewood are they not ??? if you come down the hill from hampstead you can turn left to swiss cottage or right to the north circular over the finchley rd ?????

  4. its a hard onr realy I think most people start out as a climber get to the top of a company. Then start there own thing up some do well some dont. Im not the best business man around but i do think if you sell your self well from the start and keep customers well informed you will keep your self busy.

  10. iv hired out an avant what was realy good i need a grapple for grabbing small trees.
  11. hi everyone im thinking of buying a bobcat has anyone got one ? Im thinking of geting a grinder for the front ? has anyone used one for that ?? Im also thinking of geting a grapple for it for loading timber on the truck and for loading chips. Any advise would be good many thanks stuart

  15. if that was in guildford you would be looking at £1400 1.5 days 3 men.All rigged down and chiped with 1 load of wood with a 8 wheeler grab.
  16. come on boys now now. The electricity board down here are realy good i got a switch off within a few weeks on a job last year. The line clearence boys even helped me chip and drag the stuff.

  20. I do alot of work on plane's in london and we all have the cycalist masks they are really good. Dont buy the cheap ones they just fall apart and dont go close to face face al the time.Iv had mine for around 3 years and still going strong.
  21. dont do it mate they arnt that good to many shackles and the gear bit is pants go and but a tree motion for the same money.
  22. i think there should be a nptc for being a groundie. i know there is in a way ie chipper cross cutting ect but think of all the people who come out of college and think there are going to become a climber straight away. You should be a good groundie before becoming a climber then IMO.

  25. just up the road in braknell there is a go ape climbing thing for the family also there is coral reef a large swimming complex windsor castle and the long mile they will sleep well after walking that.
