  1. "Most of the population of the uk have a good degree of common sense" I would have to vigorously disagree on the point
  2. Fired the stove up for the first time this year seen as how it's miserable outside. That's it now, it won't be put out till end of April. Kettle boiling, tea towel drying, dog taking advantage and feet warm as toast. Think I'll turn off the phone and television and watch the fire
  3. Looked a cracking day, far cry from today's weather.
  4. It means you owe us all a pint
  5. Exactly the same for me. I don't have any hassle. Just filter out the " no ideas " by supplying quality logs at a realistic price. Logs are not free to us, they cost a lot to transport, process and store
  6. I have put my prices up this year, the logs are in my barn, nice and dry, if they are too dear for people they can stay were they are, I,m not fussed
  7. I was one of the non Greenmech owners who went on the tour and with my engineering background I found it very interesting. I was very suprised as wasnt aware that Greenmech built from scratch, ie not import the parts and bolt them together and claim they are british built. It is nice to see a truely British manufactured machine and can highly recommend the tour, although i would have like to have had a play on some of the machines. The laser cutter was very impressive
  8. Can't of been Plip, I didn't feel any aftershock in Yorkshire
  9. I,ve just ordered a rebuild kit for my transfer box, its making a whining noise that no-one else can ear, so its coming out on friday, all new bearings and gasket kit. Thing is i have one in the garage that some supposed expert rebuilt, it looks like it has just come from the scrappers, no thanks, i,ll rebuild my own. they always start with a bearing going, then when the bearing gos it takes gears with it, if you catch them early, you can rebuild them for £120. while i,m at it i have just got new pads and discs all round and new prop bolts...may as well

  14. Haha.. I,ve had two greenmech and I had no issues at all with them. I only went off them because of the square infeed, the huge wide infeed aperture of the bandit is what drew me toward them (-:

  16. Yes but there can't be a 100% success rate, at some point there as to be a parachute failure to keep the statistics I particularly enjoyed a prank video I recently saw In which the instructor pretended to pull the cord and showed the person strapped to him the handle with a bit of string attached, the persons face was one of sheer terror
