  1. Only problem with a lot of the free stuff is they might find the problem but they dont remove it, I downloaded a free one that found the virus but then prompts me to pay to fix it
  2. Went out to deliver logs and landy wouldn't go back up the drive without a bit of digging, put tipper back up to get weight over back axle. Believe it or not, a Transit van stopped at the top of the hill, saw me stuck in the landrover and then started off down the hill. The idiot slid all the way down to the bottom bouncing off the kerb, some 1/2 a mile. Pratts dont think about people walking or driving in the opposite direction, how he made it to the bottom I'll never know
  3. The total is outstanding well done everyone who donated but it still only equates to less than a £1 per member. I'm sure we can do better next year
  4. Thats the one, I'm going to wipe my current software and try this one
  5. I'm going to use that one if I ever get done for speeding
  6. We live ontop of a hill and only get back drafts when the back door is opened on a windy day and the living room carpet hovers with the draft coming through the floor boards
  7. I bet you wondered what the hell it was at first, like one of those african kids seeing snow for the first time I was brought up where we used to get 30ft even 40ft snow drifts
  8. Hahaha, I knew there was going to be one My internet software coped ok with the porn channels, it's the email it struggled with
  9. Your end is cut off from ours now the Greenfield road and Holme road have been shut all week haven't they ?
  10. Mines a 25 hp John, nice tractor that, perfect for our job. There'll be a dead easy way of altering the loader / 3 point issue but I'd need to scan round it to find it. Mine doesnt do that BTW, the loader works independant of the 3 point
  11. I did a churchyard prune before xmas and as much as you try to clean up it looks as though you never even bothered I tried raking it over to hide all the black marks but it didn't work
  12. I have Live Onecare anti virus on my laptop which puts junk email into a junk folder. The other day I went to highlight a viagra email to delete it and accidently double clicked it. Suddenley loads of windows opened as fast as I could click them, I was clicking no, then yes then god knows what. I ended up with a virus or trojan called Win32/nuqel.E I phoned Tommer who googled it through for me to let me know what it was and recommended his antivirus which I cant remember what it was. This virus was one of these that opens window after window then does a virus scan and frightens you into buyig this software. This software comes up on the only page you can open. I couldn't even open a virus scan, but eventually found out that if I booted the comp and clicked on virus software like adware before it had finished botting it opened ok and scanned, but neither adware or Live onecare picked anything up I eventually after 3 days found that it had altered my internet proxy settings which only allowed me to go to their website so I just deleted theirs and clicked detect settings automatically, then downloaded a specailist virus software for that trojan Tommer what was the software you recommended and does anyone else use something that rejects virus emials completely and doesn't allow them into a junk box
  13. Only problem with me is I'm all domestic, they dont want you in their gardens with snow on the ground, all the crap stays ontop of the snow. Just slid the landcruiser down the drive so our lass can get to work, she works on the kidney dialysis unit so tries her best to get in
  14. It's going to be 4 weeks without work for me by the time I come back from skiing on the 17th I'm well into my overdraft
  15. They're crap Ian, no skill involved There'll be lots of stalking your prey, crawling on your belly in gale force winds and sub zero temperatures for hours at a time...................... Should be fun
  16. What about last weekend in feb ??
  17. Nose end or back end of Feb would be better Jan is shooting season and 20 feb is hare shooting day
  18. Dont want to be the one to pee on your bonfire but in another 15 years you'll wish you could shove it back
  19. Couldn't be bothered ringing so opened the camera unit up to see if I could solve the sound problem. The microphone is in the orange rubber sealing strip and like most mics it has a little felt pad over the opening. It turned out the fibres on the little felt pad were going inside the mic and rubbing on the sound diaphram. So I just remove the felt pad, cleaned out the hairs from the diaphram and hey presto, sound is good. Probably voided my warranty but hey ho
  20. I worked through it, you naturally take it easy otherwise it causes pain
  21. Only thing I could find is a samuri sword maker vid but it shows the folding process and the technology behind blade making, bit long but worth watching [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwQqtf86qOc&feature=related]YouTube - The traditional Making of a Samurai Sword (Katana)[/ame]
  22. Now that is a proper made knife. It has been hand forged, heated, then folded, beat and heated and folded the same many times, the more times it is folded the better. When sharpened then the edge of the fold becomes the cutting edge. All the very best swords used to be made this way
  23. This Bandana thing has started in Hudds, different colour bandaner for different postcode areas. The shootings are being carried out by teenagers trying to get status, but they are picking on soft targets, shooting property rather than people. If I had the funding or the money and time I would start a program introducing youth to guns properly and in the right enviroment. Introduce them to competition as an alternative way of earning status.
