  1. What, like the ironing and the washing up ?
  2. I'd give a written quote of £1200 and tell them to ring a "We'll beat any genuine quote" merchant
  3. You dont me and have no idea what I would have done, you only know what you would have done, and I wouldn't call it a "hero approach" to me it is natural instinct, nothing else. ARO's and Beat bobbies get paid to risk their life, if they dont like doing so they should get an office job or dont join in the first place, it's quite simple. I can't stand this "oh I wouldn't like to do their job" Thats why those that say it are not coppers and those that are know full well what they let themselves in for.
  4. It's ok Stevie, I thought it was walnut too
  5. Hahaha........class
  6. I found it quite shockng really Sean, very obvious when you play it back
  7. Failed
  8. Dont be silly, its Holly
  9. You've been watching too much telly
  10. Once again.....there's to be no enquiry, so when you do come up with more facts, which is now unlikely, please feel free to join in the conversation with a few more words than ditto
  11. I doubt that very much Tim, the clue is in the place name "Sellefield" a prime terrorist target. It would not be good to have a local police force made up of farmers with pitch forks and catapults
  12. The facts are already there and seen as now they are not going to carry out an investigation then those are the facts we have to work with
  13. No vat and dont forget regional differences.. essex is going to be slightly dearer than here or should be. I reckon if I was busy and priced to allow for overbudget I'd stick another £300 on, If I wanted the job I'd charge what I posted
  14. Text him and tell him to get his butt on here, I,m busting to know if I'm wrong with my Leylandii ident
  15. Whoooee whoooe whoooe sweet child of mine... Can we have the thread back on track please
  16. I would have had one climber and three ground staff over three days and charged £2K then get stump busters in to do the stump at about £350 More if I was busy
  17. Sad thing is mate it's not the first time it has happened, it happened whilst the fox hunting debate was on going but very little was heard about it. This ones probably made big news because it was two kids together
  18. Its a leylandii, I can see the twigs underneath it !!!!
  19. Stop being so sensetive Frank, your not the only one with two kids
  20. So are you getting the stem out in one piece
  21. Liam, you should be ashamed of yourself
  22. I reckon you had the stick for personal protection because you were scared incase it grabbed you by the throat, picked you up and shook you like a rag doll
  23. I dont understand Frank, if you were that keen on not harmng the fluffy little ball of feathers, why jab it in the eye with a stick in pic 7 ?
  24. Why two climbers ?? I reckon one climber and three groundies will tackle any big tree
  25. Haha Over half a stone mate, another half a stone to go
