    Eco fan?

Look up sterling engines. They also work with cold air. Put one on an ice block and it will work the same as on your hot fire, bit irrelevant though!
  2. I think you find them in garden centres or home brew shops.
  3. There is a solar powered heating Matt that will keep the water from freezing.
  4. Not a cow hitch, the half hitch or marlin spreads the load on the timber or running bowline and should be tied so it takes load first. Take care as the hitch and timber may invert when falling.
  5. If you tie the half hitch the opposite way it should result in a overhand knot if it was not around the spar, marlin hitch. Don't know what other names your looking for?
  6. If you had your block much higher you could have lifted the branch to be cut, this would mean no fall to the phone line and it could have been lowered down past it. Not sure if your diagram is confusing the issue and without real pics its hard to say. Nobody hurt nothing broken, good job!
  7. I like them, big solid steel!
  8. Does the smoke taint everything and are you now selling lots of shinny bling as smoke damaged at give away prices! 👍👏🙏
  9. My Ex Forestry Commission Ranger, all geared up for deer extraction! 🐾👣
  10. An old post, what's the forum, just looking into this again!
  11. What's the dye that you add to your brew of choice to turn treated stumps bright blue?
  12. Stevens winch is not a powered winch is it!
  13. If you insist on bombing out of the tree you will wear them very quickly! Not that different to glazing a friction cord. A little care and consideration with all your kit pays dividends!
  14. Reckon it would be good with a RW.
  15. Used mine today on a. BiG ASH and it rocks! Stonking saw! My mate now wants one, preferred it to his 372. I also use the chain brake but only when the saw stops, can't see why you would want to apply the brake at full revs? Had 2 brakes in 6 years including the original.
