    When using a big saw in the tree I often put a friction hitch above my unicender and clip my saw into this. This means you don't have all the weight on your hips. Make sure the hitch bites as you don't want it tending your hitch and sending you into free fall! Also use a lanyard that will break!

    I use mine all the time, rig smart, it's not all about "go big or go home" rigging. It makes life so much easier and puts less stress on your gear and your groundie!

    They are good but you could try using 2 cheap mobile phones with pay as you go SIM cards. Set the phone on the receiving end to never go to answer machine and have the ring tone as a rabbit distress or whatever. Your credit will never be used as you never answer. It means you can have the call exactly where you want it as long as you have a signal!
