  7. Alec, where are you, sounds like a good idea. Still not sure about drilling though!
  8. I have been asked to fix a lot of owl boxes, they are large about 40Lbs! I have been told they are going to screw them to the trees! Not rally happy with this so I have been racking my brains to come up with a non invasive mounting method. Maybe a couple of ratchets with offsets under the straps to try prevent strangling the cambium? These would need adjusting as the tree grows though. Another idea was to girth hitch a sling and suspend. This in theory would allow for expansion. Any body got any better ideas?
  9. whats not covered up? Two different machines, the Bandit is 9" and does this easily. I only saw the stress control kick in a couple of times on mine!
  10. Big heavy machine that eats wood! Solidly built very reliable. Not brilliant on conifer tops and whippy brash. It has an off set flywheel and conifer can get stuck in-between the flywheel and feed rollers. If it fits in it will eat it!
  11. Sounds like you have set the automatic setting to open in iPhoto. I think you can delete folders or events instead of individual pictures. You also should be able to drag the folder or event into iMovie. Once there you adjust the time to display the stills and the speed.
  12. What HS card you got? The bigger and better quality the better!
  13. That's going to leach the nitrogen from the soil. Make sure you use well rotted chip for mulch.

  20. Having your own page is free, banner advertising on FB is the same as pay per click. However you can target your audience much better than pay per click.
  21. Steve advertising on Facebook is not free, its just like pay per click.
  22. If he didn't leave anything he's been back a couple of times! Bait the cage with a bit of rabbit, they can't resist!😃
  23. Splice yourself a small whoopsie sling. Tried it on my Unicender, works but not for me.
  24. You are best using the tension block system with a tag line. You should not drop anything onto a tensioned line! Cut first, tension up and lower under control!
  25. Do you or are you planning anything that does the same as the Predator 28?
