  1. Mog, how you work it out is up to you as long as its the right answer. The reason I do it like that is you always have the log weight in your head, or at least I do!
  2. Very interesting! Nice to see traditional craftsmanship!
  3. Its made me think about my methods more! Most people will insist on using all their strength of the arms to get around a tree. Legs are much larger muscle groups and tire much less. To be honest most people who post about SRT seem to be converts to the concept and the sceptics appear not to have used SRT in anger but merely don't like the concept. Cost could be an issue as well but the cost pales into insignificance compared to the benefits and is mitigated by the reduced fatigue and time saved!
  4. Please tell us more about this. I have memory map and can't use it!!
  5. The CD drive should be a slot on the right hand side of the edge. Mac book air's do not have a drive.
  6. If you really must, get boot camp that partitions your hard drive. Only assign the very minimum of GB to run the windows operating system.
  7. Thanks for the info but I won't be using it on surf boards, I ain't got the time to surf! I've seen videos of if used as a finish. Do you think it could be used as a protective finish on a table or bench?
  8. Does anyone know if you can get a glass finish after sanding the resin? Also if you plan to insert objects into the resin do you pour a layer and let it set, insert object and cover with resin? How do you prevent sir bubbles in deal gaps? Thanks in advance!
  9. It's illegal to hunt anything with a bow of any kind in Britian.😁
  10. Use the lower D's on the Treemotion, there rated.
  11. It should be the last ever throw bag you buy!😇
  12. Ok, Ive had my Rope Knight a few months now and I have never got it stuck! I was going to do a video but to be honest Thomas's latest video shows everything I wanted to. It does take a little time to adjust to but it is very good when you get away from the feeling of launching a stainless weight aloft. A couple of things I didn't like. It comes in a plastic case with all accessories inside which is great but for me I would prefer a bag that I could throw in with my cube. There are lots of attachments to make it possible to use it without a big shot but for me this seems a bit of a waste as I nearly always use the big shot. The large padding also would be pretty much redundant but again I'm sure it would protect valuable old tiles or PV solar panels. On the positive side, its accurate and more importantly doesn't get stuck! I tried to get it stuck in some tight crotches and there were occasions where I thought it was going to get stuck but with a little manipulation it always came out. For me it is great for the big shot but I would recommend it is sold with a bag with minimum attachments which could be added if requested. This would keep down the cost and use less space in your kit. All in all a great piece of kit!
