  1. Last cut syndrome strikes again!
  2. You could be right Steve, I've e-mailed the landowners but not had a reply as yet. I’ll start looking for a local camping site…..
  3. Beer, alka seltza, hat, some sun cream, camera and a lap-top with wi-fi.
  4. I suggest we all e-mail the AA and ask for camping, if we all do it they might relent. Just in case they dont I'll start looking for a local camp site or at least a friendly farmer who'll rent out his field!
  5. Good man - thats the old Dunkirk spirit!
  6. I'll go along with that, Friday will be THE night - no doubt!
  7. I disagree with the above, your body will adapt very quickly to the cycling. I cycle 15 miles into work, climb, then cycle 15 miles back again. Your sex life might suffer though as you’ll be asleep before you hit the pillow!
  8. Mate, you need to eat more greens and grow a bit more – you’re a lot shorter than I remember!
  9. One good thing about cycling – You’ll be able to crush walnuts with your arse-cheeks – Great trick at parties!
  10. I've got a Carlton Professional in my shed, had it from new - although I wouldn’t ride it now as the lug work would probably fall to pieces! Cadence – ride at a fairly high tempo, i.e. don’t use the big gears – too many people use huge gearing and bugger their knees up. If you use a low gear, it’ll work your heart and lungs at a much better rate (you’ll reduce body weight quicker too)
  11. I'll second that! It’s a fantastic form of exercise. I’d recommend a road bike or a hybrid and start with steady miles at a fairly high cadence (that way you wont bugger your knees up) Give it a month and you’ll feel like a new man!
  12. He’d just clocked Burt Reynolds and realised he’s left his autograph book at home!
  13. Good to see you as well mate! I just wish I had a good pic of you (had full intentions of ‘photoshoping’ you onto B.R – Bugger!
  14. Excellent Job - Respect!! Tommers.....I love it!!
  15. Your right there David! I'd love to buy a Teepee and take up residence down there (I need a lot of chilling out I guess!)
  16. Don’t be cocky and answer back (but I’m sure you wouldn’t) Good-Luck!
  17. Nikon D80 Ian, good little camera - Had it a while now.
  18. Its really easy – set the camera up on a tripod and change the shutter speed to anything between 1 and 1.5 seconds, press the shutter and zoom in at a slow, steady speed. Not everyone’s cup of tea but I quite like it.
  19. Just a short walk from my house janey, I manage the woodland in my spare time for a local farmer, mainly Oak and Ash - Tiz very nice down there...!
  20. Sod it, one more from this morning...
  21. Went a walk down my local woods this morning and remembered to take the tripod this time!
  22. Bless him, doesn’t he look cute........ .......your little lad’s looking good too David.
  23. Just got back from the pub, getting some practise in - Any gossip??
