  1. Good quality and sound Steve. Hope they gave you a good discount as I would imagine they’ll be selling a fair-few more now.
  2. Thats stunning work! More info please!!
  3. Last time I saw them at a show they werent, I walked away.
  4. Are these ladders rated and certified?
  5. £54.99 this year - I must be mad!!
  6. …..unless it was a very tall, straight Beech.
  7. Here you go.... http://www.treeworld.info/f9/how-do-you-spikeless-climb-big-1692-2.html
  8. Well done everyone, I'm made-up for you!
  9. That’s a good idea! Chicken Nibbles and double cream tomorrow then.
  10. Here you go – especially for those who thought I’d either stuffed a robin or Photoshop’d it. Enjoy… [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqmgfpDlXBM]YouTube - Sometimes its the simple things in life that make you smile[/ame]
  11. Ouch! I’ve had a few nicks from them but only ever needed butterflies. I use Silkys’ often and you’d be amazed at the rate of work when holding with the left and cutting with the right. Hold – Cut – Turn – Throw. I’d much rather have a few stitches than risk lopping my hand off (which would be difficult to do in a MEWP granted).
  12. Know that feeling well Dean....I'm always muttering (as I'm climbing out) 'wish i'd bought the 23m one instead of the ------- 15m'.
  13. Use a Silky then. If its too thick, step-cut it.
  14. I’d tend to agree that yes you do need to have ’39 for MEWP use. This is what I was told when we all went through our MEWP tickets a few years ago. There were two ‘none-arbs’ on the course and they were told they couldn’t use one, after-all standing in a MEWP is just like standing on the ground – and we never use 020’s on the ground, do we.
  15. Its only a Nikon D80 – cost about £800 two years ago (worth about £250 now). I think modern cameras depreciate quicker that X type Jags!
  16. Thanks Justin, the kids will love playing with that. And thanks for the bottle of Bells – How you can afford to send one of those out to every account customer is beyond me, but thanks anyway – Cheers!
  17. I’m good at Photoshop, but not that good Ian! Most of the pics came out like the one below (he was a quick little fella). Think the last one is my fav’.
  18. Haven’t fed him since last winter bob. He popped up yesterday and the only food I had were Chicken Tikka flavour nibbles (just the crumbs left as I’d scoffed the lot earlier) We returned today stocked up with some fresh Chicken nibbles, sunflower seeds and Tescos mince pies!
  19. This little fella has been visiting us on our trips to the log pile for well over 12 months. He’s got a particular liking for Chicken Nibbles at the moment and I’ve got to say – feeding him by hand has got to be the highlight of the month, if not the year – Highly recommended...
