  1. On here, nothing, its the internet. I give thought to the opinion of people I respect, what others think of me really is of little interest to me.
  2. No deflection, if you genuinely don't know the difference trying to explain it would be a waste of my time and yours. My comment was an explanation for your ignorance, thats all.
  3. You obviously don't have children (going by many of your posts your probably not old enough anyway)
  4. Back to the original Visio, looked to me like the pick was just too big, why did you go from pretty concervative lifts to what looked to be a huge section of trunk?
  5. This is what I want! Taking back until all damage is gone dramatically reduces the life of the blades. This is a chipper, not a plane, nicks and notches should not really affect its performance. I been annoyed in the past when firms have removed masses of metal just to get a perfect edge, there really is no need, IMO.
  6. No it isn't, its just the reality of trying something new. No one can know exactly how things will pan out, but self belief and some positivity will go a very, very long way, IMO.
  7. Really I must have missed those! All I read is sour grapes and false predictions.
  8. I'm not sure that's actually how it works, often the trade in price is a very healthy one, you lose the cash discount on your new machine, so selling privately will be better. The dealer often simply look to recoup the trade in price, plus a like to cover the warranty. Will you be offering a similar warranty to the one offered by a dealer?
  9. Shocking forecast, but no where near as bad as they said
  10. Will people ever stop feeding the troll???
  11. This is the thing, people chose to believe what suits their narrative.

    Burning

Presumably it was you who set the price at £10 in the first instance.
  13. Unimog spring broke, also fitted fresh shockers. Good old Alex Price had all the required parts on the shelf so no down time
  14. Have you checked that the bar hole is clear and the pump is working ok?
  15. The heat of the saw will warm it up, so I don't really see how the weather affects it once its in the saw. Sure its slow while refuelling, but no real hardship.
  16. That probably why he was a trainer, as they say "those who can't,…… teach" he sounds pretty clueless to me
  17. The old "this is not an advert, but whats it worth" trick
  18. A tree has been there for what 30, 50, 100, 200, years and not fallen over, but some how a machine that was set up 20 minuets before you start is safer……………………….. yeah right
