Don't you simply quarter bigger rings? I would have thought that if you're running an arb firm with just transits, with no way of carrying large timber, you could bring most timber back to the yard ready go straight through it. -

I bought one of Stevie Blair a good while back, finally got round to putting it on my harness last week, WOW!!! what a great thing, I very much like it and will definitely be sticking with it from now on, just wish I'd got one years ago.

Is summer pruning not now considered as good if not better than winter pruning? I think the tradition of winter pruning is mostly down to ease, as there are no leaves, plus the fact that often the guys who cut the trees also cut the grass, so winter pruning made perfect sense.

I've always been impressed with Jensen chippers when I've used them, you have bought wisely IMO. -

I have no objection to them being rounded up and dealt with by due process. In fact I think it's well over due. But I do not and will never advocate punishment without trial are these not the very British values we are so keen to protect?

You have missed my point entirely, obviously I'm not suggesting the deaths on the road are the same as deliberate terrorist murders. All the people are just as dead. My point is that a group cannot all be judged as the same as the worst of them. The boy racer doing 70 through an estate is very different to a person who fails to see a cyclist on a busy roundabout. But jailing all motorists with out trial would solve the problem and save thousands of lives every year, so why not!!!
