  1. The irony of this thread is that those spouting bile and trying to stir up hatred of all Muslims are in fact, IMO, have the very opposite affect. I'm no fan of muslims, manly because I dislike their way of life and the negative affect many of them have had on my local area, places that I loved as a child have been changed by all recognition and not for the better. I often find them rude and arrogant, but others I have found to be the "salt of the earth" offering unparalleled hospitality and humility. But this thread has made me far more sympathetic to them than I have ever felt. If they have to deal with these kinds of attitudes from my fellow country men little wonder they keep to themselves to themselves and consider themselves better than the west. How many children have died on the roads this year? I drive, maybe I and all other drivers should be locked up, without trial. Think of the lives that would be saved!!!
  2. Once you've had a Shleisling, you always disappointed by other chipper, IMO.
  3. Of cause. My mother fell down the stairs at the age of 70 and became a quadriplegic, its awful, but IMO it would have been far worse if it had happened when she was 60 or 50. She had 70 able-bodied years, which cannot be taken from her by that terrible accident.
  4. I would argue the later the better.
  5. Life is like a fairground ride, we each get our turn, if you die young you fail to get your full turn, which is sad, IMO. Also as we are the product of evolution, procreation and the passing on of ones genes is the fundamental driver in life, dying before you can complete or even begin this is also sad, IMO.
  6. He's good at that.
  7. Do you not think ISIS say the exact same thing about the west who drop bombs on muslims in their homelands?
  8. I'm very glad you're not my dad.
  9. What they don't chip they probably sell or use themselves. I know I do.
  10. Some years ago we did a night time removal of some dead Elms on a main road in Preston. The road was closed for us. A muslim lady from about 100 houses down from where we were working came out with a flask of tea and Tupperware tub full of samosas for us. I guess you think we were idiots for enjoying her kind gift, we should have been fearful of her kindness?
  11. You cannot be "racist" about a religion. Sure they may be "Islamophobic", but Islam is not a race.

  15. So you genuinely think that tounge in cheek coment is comparable to Matelot's bile?
  16. Fixed that for you
  17. I'm not on a phone, so it won't play.
  18. Please explain how more police would have prevented this atrocity? You are like a broken record.
  19. My youngest daughter went with the school to a mosque yesterday (arranged long before monday) my Mrs put ham butties in her lunch pack, nothing deliberate, but may me smile.
  20. Oh my:001_rolleyes: They are physically there!! its where they live!!! You can't "take" someone to the place where they are!! Good grief!!! talk about dimwitted:001_rolleyes:
  21. The fact that they already live there could make that difficult, On dear
  22. Some interesting posts, always good to see peoples true colours. Personally I'd sooner take my chances with the terrorists than live in the kind of police state many of you are advocating
  23. :congrats:
  24. You clearly don't understand the concept of "the elephant in the room". Its not about removing the elephant, its about acknowledging its existence and discussing the issue everyone is pretending isn't the real problem.
