  5. 180t tonne crane is a VERY big crane!!!!! and I would have thought VERY expensive. I used an 85t crane 10 years ago and it cost £850 per day back then. What job did you use an 180t on?? and what did it cost??
  6. Surely "completely reduced" means "removed"????????????? Are you talking "topped"??????????? 25% reduction????????????? 50% reduction????????? IME, you must leave a fair amount of foliage or it will die.
  7. Really thats is cheap, most people are selling the builders dumpy type bags (often called 1tonne bags, but that not a good idea) for £50 up wards and most of those only hold 0.6 of a cube.
  8. How did you get away with 5% vat, as you are not the end user??????????
  9. The people who are selling split log for £70-£100 a cube, at between 1.5 and 3 cube to the tonne, I would say there is scope for a decent profit
  10. NO!no!no!, his is string Mine are more Bruce Willis, than Rab c
  11. I normally wear a "wife beater" vest, Tshirt and an old jumper or sweat shirt. Keep my check shirt for special days!!
  12. Does any one feel Stihl are taking advantage of the very completive retail market in the UK?? Those of us in the trade always pay at least 20% less than list, Stihl have upped their prices so much that even with this discount we are paying the old list price.
  13. Love it!!!!!! Bit thirsty (22.5 MPG) But I have 4 kids, so when we are all traveling its not so bad, its like 2 people in a car doing 67.5 MPG. Great for towing, loads of power, great off road and luxury comfort!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Just been down my track to see what the roads like (we have about 8" now) When I got to the road at the bottom, I tried to stop and just slowly slid!!! The road has not been gritted, I turned round and came back up the track, the Disco came up no bother at all!!! Even though we have big fat road tyres that traction control is very, very good!!!!!!!!!!
  15. We did a couple of domestics yesterday, it was not snowing, but there was 3to5" on the ground and it was a real pain trying to clear up. With falling snow it will be even worse!!!
  16. Exactly!!! Of cause my TM would be above and beyond Chapter 8 (I'm chapter 10 or 11 at least ) BUT even so I can't control all those muppet drivers!!
  17. Same here Johny. Woke up to another 3" on top of the 3" already here. Should be doing a road side job but it would not be safe. So I'm staying home.
  18. I'm glad my head doesn't roll every time I make an honest mistake.
  19. What you cutting?????????
  20. If your running a 15" bar, the 440 would be fine, I have an 18" on mine and its great!!! So long as they are offering an alternative or your cash back, the OFT ain't gonna be interested. It is annoying thou when you get messed about.
