  1. One of my new ones gripped Todd (my groundie) the other day, I want them to stay that way. Todd is OK (four puncture wounds and some bruising) and took it in good heart, fortunately.
  2. Yes I have had gardeners for the last 8 years and they have done a great job at a good price, but I have some new guard dogs (as my old one died) I don't want these dogs getting used to strange men coming into the garden once a fortnight, as my old one became a very poor guard because of this.
  3. Thats a great offer. Thank you
  4. Not sure my dogs would get on with them, lol.
  5. Really!!, do tell!!! Please
  6. I need a ride on mower, to cut my grass at home. I know nothing about them and would really value any advice. I'm thinking secondhand and with a collection box. Many thanks
  7. Did it just go ping?? Did you not feel a weak spot as you checked it??
  8. So what is the purpose of paying good money for a LOLER inspection????????
  9. I think I should be able to check my own gear and spend my cash on new gear not pointless certs.
  10. Indeed, but are you really saying that that has rusted like that in 6 months?????????????????????? And FTR I think LOLER is total BS and resent paying for it
  11. No, but if my car snapped in half due too rust I would
  12. I'm not sure such long posts are a great idea on a thread about dyslexia
  13. I am just the same. When I was at primary school I could not really read or recite the alphabet, but would win every general knowledge quiz we did (even against children much older than me) as any information I heard that interested me I never forgot. My eldest daughter also has dyslexia, as we are doing some research I am finding out things about myself that I did not know were caused by dyslexia, such as my inability to keep time with others clapping. If we are at a show and the audience starts clapping along, I have never been able to synchronize with every one else, apparently this is a classic dyslexia thing. I spell check all my posts.
  14. Not ALL , I've never used one and don't want too
  15. I'd be taking legal advice if I were you. Whats the point of us paying for all this nonsense (IMO) if there is no redress???
  16. But what good did it do them??????????
  17. Do people not understand the way fuel duty works?????? Its a % of the price, so the government is getting far more tax as a result of the increase. They could fix the tax at a set amount per gallon, the price would rise by much less and they would still get the same revenue as budgeted for without the price rise. As for smokers not paying their way, thats a complete joke. Smokers do us none smokers a huge favor, as they pay way more than their fair share in tax. The most expensive patients in the NHS, are the very elderly (which smokers very rarely are, for obvious reasons, same goes for the fat) And if you go down the route of making people pay for self imposed health issues, where would you stop?? Why should others pay for some fool who falls out of a tree??
  18. Great vid!!!, thanks for sharing. One question though, obviously there was no problem dropping lumps, so why rope down the top?? Surely it would have been quicker to just go a little higher and cut and chuck the top.
  19. I have never priced a job I did not have the ability to do.
  20. I would have thought having the ability to do the job would have come before all of those, it did for me
