  1. I don't. They only do it because people accept it.
  2. No it looked pretty good actually. Following my old cuts made life pretty easy. I hate have to follow numpty's that can't cut flat and level or leave crap in the top of the hedge.
  3. I recently reduced by a little over 50% a laylandii hedge I did pretty much the same to 15 years ago. If I'd felled it back then I would not have been able to charge £600+VAT for the day my son and I spent reducing it.
  4. I would say pigeons seldom nest in conifer hedges, IME they prefer more open trees for the 5 sticks held together with poo nests, they really are the crappiest nest builders. Black bird, Tits, Thrush's etc are much more common, IME. Hedge bashing is not the most glamorous tree work but as I like to say "you have to take the rough with the smooth, and its the rough that makes the smooth feel so nice"
  5. You would be better to have an inflated quote and offer a discount for early payment, this will be far easier to enforce, IMO.
  6. I won't work for any firm that has terms beyond 30 days on principle. 90 days is ridiculous, IMO.
  7. Are you on the vino Mick?
  8. Depends what your looking for. That is so much better than my first harness. But then my first climbing saw was a husky 266.
  9. Yep! Bargin!
  10. Barcalona was a country. Catalonia has its own language, I'm not sure cockney is quite the same.
  11. Oh dear!! Go do some history research
  12. When was London a separate country?
  13. Being in the EU limits our trade with other nations, your simply a "little Europeaner" us brexiteers are internationalists
  14. Sounds like you would never be happy, so no loss there. Many of us accept we need policies that take into account our fellow country men, surely we have more in common with them that those living 1000's of miles away.
  15. You genuinely think Catalonia and London are comparable?
  16. But surely you want "strength in numbers" There is no strength is loosing control of your own country and being ruled by unelected officials. You lost, good sense won the day, get over it, you sound like a two year old complaining its not fair that its not ice-cream for tea every day
  17. Your funny!!! You'll be telling me next that Sadiq Karn is the Pope and London has a population of around 1000
  18. Do you live in a commune? if not, why not?
  19. I think the "city" bit in "the city of London" answers your rather foolish question
  20. I don't intend to stop climbing. Maybe I'm a fool, only time will tell
  21. IMO, thats ridiculous, thats like saying both parties must agree before a couple can separate. Should the whole of the EU have voted in our referendum? Would have been pointless, the result would be obvious. Clearly if one country feels its being disadvantaged by being harnessed to another, those in the county benefiting are hardly going to vote to loose that advantage.
  22. Still confused, so you think the Scottish referendum was wrong?
  23. Which gut? the one in the vids? Only kidding no offence intended.
  24. I see no mention there of success or intelligence?
