What like your referendum result prediction?

Not necessarily. I'm in the fortunate position that I get offered far more work than I want to do. So I'd sooner work for those who pay in a timely fashion. What would be your cut-off point? 6months? 1year? 2years? As I say, for me its the principle, 30 days should be plenty long enough for anyone, IMO.

I've reconnected a snapped pull cord on an 020/200 up the tree on several occasions. Fitted a new cord once too. Ideally I keep a fresh side cover in the cab and just swop it. Granted that needs a Multitool rather than just a Combispaner.

Indeed!! I seem to recall its only within the last 10 years or so that we finally paid off the HUGE bill we agreed to pay the USA for their help in WW2. Why on earth have none of those we saved in Europe payed us?

Can't see that happening, sure they will try to water it down as much as they can and get the softest Brexit they can, BUT the Torys know all too well that if they try and defy the will of the people they will be finished. UKip or some new party will form and UK politics will change in a way never before seen, IMO.

No it looked pretty good actually. Following my old cuts made life pretty easy. I hate have to follow numpty's that can't cut flat and level or leave crap in the top of the hedge.

I recently reduced by a little over 50% a laylandii hedge I did pretty much the same to 15 years ago. If I'd felled it back then I would not have been able to charge £600+VAT for the day my son and I spent reducing it.

I would say pigeons seldom nest in conifer hedges, IME they prefer more open trees for the 5 sticks held together with poo nests, they really are the crappiest nest builders. Black bird, Tits, Thrush's etc are much more common, IME. Hedge bashing is not the most glamorous tree work but as I like to say "you have to take the rough with the smooth, and its the rough that makes the smooth feel so nice"

You would be better to have an inflated quote and offer a discount for early payment, this will be far easier to enforce, IMO.

I won't work for any firm that has terms beyond 30 days on principle. 90 days is ridiculous, IMO.

Sounds like you would never be happy, so no loss there. Many of us accept we need policies that take into account our fellow country men, surely we have more in common with them that those living 1000's of miles away.

But surely you want "strength in numbers" There is no strength is loosing control of your own country and being ruled by unelected officials. You lost, good sense won the day, get over it, you sound like a two year old complaining its not fair that its not ice-cream for tea every day
