  1. Many years ago I dreamt that a power line pole was struck by lightening and was falling onto my wife, I grabbed my wife and dragged her across the bed (all in my sleep) my wife was more than a little shocked.

    Wages??

Careful I think he may have been saying he only employs handsome staff and likes to cuddle them in the morning
  3. Personally I think experience it what gives you the ability to prevent and avoid these situations. It makes me very angry that some in our industry are cashing in on this scare mongering and that people see a bit of paper that shifts blame as whats needed.
  4. We hear this on here time after time, PLEASE give one example of this having happened. What sort of accident are you taking about??

The boss would be better packing in and going to find something he's better at and the lads would be better working else where.

Definition of EXCELLENT 1archaic : superior 2: very good of its kind : eminently good : first-class — ex·cel·lent·ly adverb See excellent defined for English-language learners » See excellent defined for kids » Examples of EXCELLENT Her new movie has received excellent reviews. He is an excellent role model for young men everywhere. The car is in excellent condition.
  12. We may have all retired by then
  13. I'm sure that if you already have an OL the powers that be will have written to you and as its only people who already have an OL that are affected by the change if would be daft to waste money on advertising to those who are not affected. You may need an OL for your set (depending on weight) but thats nothing new.
  14. If carrying your own stuff is not "hire and reward" why is there a restricted OL for such people????
  15. Personally I would have given them a price before I began. And yes I would charge at least double my normal rate.
  16. Based on this thread, I'm not sure thats true.
  17. I'm not a massive fan of this stuff, for me its not real Lego.
  18. TBH thats my gut feeling when I hear about things like this, but really they must be suffering from some form of mental disorder to act in this way, so we should have sympathy for them.
  19. Its the same with most things, years ago there was real shortage of spuds (some sort of blight and bad weather I think) so the price sored. The following year every one planted spuds hoping to cash in, so there was a surplus and prices fell. The advantage with with fire wood is that it is a growing market, so I don't think things will get too bad.
  20. Many insurers will cover landscaping/gardening and tree work, just give them a call, if they done, there is a good chance they will put you onto some one who will.
  21. Its actually 75 feet and I'm not to worried about running out of rope 5 feet from the floor, so even on very tall trees of 90" my TIP tends to be 10 feet from the top, so I've never really had a problem. If your regularly doing trees over 100' you'd be better with a 60M.
