  1. But you make it sound like they won't pay out for an injury to the climber, which they won't under any circumstances, as thats not what PL is for.
  2. Why was the TPO lifted, I would imagine the grounds for that would most likely overturn the covenant.
  3. Did the neighbour show you said covenant???
  4. :blushing:You are absolutely correct, please accept my sincere apology, I feel very, very foolish Look I ever found a gun Evo Xtreme Double Squirter Blue/Yellow | eBay
  5. Which came first, the chicken or the egg????
  6. They lent billions to people who will never pay it back, add to that the interest they are paying on the bailout and all the compensation for PPI, its little wonder ain't made owt.
  7. Yes I heard about the increase in cases, it appears that a lot of those vaccinated are not immune, as you are testament too. Hope your better real soon.
  8. You can buy hen huts too, but not hens You can also buy a jacket to wear when your shooting You could buy as many scopes and stock blanks as you like you would not have a firearm. I've never seen knives for sale on ebay.
  9. Not sure what you mean with this last bit???
  10. Were you vaccinated?
  11. Have ebay ever sold knives?? I thought that they had never sold firearms, knives, alcohol, porn and livestock.
  12. As they are pretty much taxpayer owned paying tax would benefit us much.
  13. In which case they will be unaffected by the changes
  14. Thinking about it this could be a godsend to our industry, it may help proper firms get more of the work, firms that have the equipment and knowledge to deal appropriately with all arising, rather than someone getting in skips or wanting to landfill timber/brash or chip.
  15. Do they give the chance to match the cheapest quote? I've had customers who ring me because they want me to to to do the job, I remembers one conifer hedge job, I quoted £400 another quoted £300, I agreed to do it for £350.
  16. I'm not sure this model works that well for tree work, the amount of existing customers can be fairly low compared to other trades, sure we have hedge customers and pruning/reductions come round every 3/5 years. But much of our work is removals and one off pruning works. If I only got 30% of new customer quotes I think I'd be in trouble. Referrals is the life blood of a tree firm IMO, if you impress your customers they will tell their friends.
  17. I agree! Down to about 5M would be ideal
  18. Could be internal seals in the ram, although when mine have gone the grab works badly for a while before packing up, but there is no leakage. Cost me around £100 to have it resealed.
  19. On most conifers you will get growth from the green bits (foliage) but not from the brown bits (timber).
  20. Just make sure you explain that they will need further attention in the next 5 or so years, other wise they could become dangerous. If their current hight is the problem, they will want the maintaing at around the new hight anyway so it should not be an issue
  21. Fell some of the smaller trees and count the rings, that will give you an idea of diameter too age ratio for that species in those growing conditions, from that you should get a far idea which trees were there when the order was applied.
