  1. Very true, access to the build is often a bigger cost factor than the size or type of bulb.
  2. Some would want to know why it was being changed.
  3. My dad has the old model. Its does 120MPG, he has to remember to fuel it once a month.
  4. Did you not read the earlier posts???
  5. I think their main problem was rust, if its been treated with wax oil and looked after it could be an OK truck. I think they now own landrover.
  6. So your really saying that mains electric is going to stop, because people can't afford it??? I think the price will continue to rise to the amounts that people can afford, but its going to continue to be a struggle for many. Power companies are making record profits, so its not that powers become so much more expense to produce, they are just squeezing us as hard as they can if demand fell to the point where profits were affected prices would soon start dropping
  7. The only way we as a country can ever be self sufficient in electricity is with nuclear.
  8. Most land rovers are actually rated at 3050KG, not 3500KG, not sure wether this makes any difference or what tyres they each have, but just thought it was worth pointing out.
  9. Dolmars are not what they used to be.
  10. Winter felled also makes a big difference.
  11. This week week we have been felling Aspen Pops, I've been taking it home and sticking it on my boiler the same day it was felled, its been burning very, very well.
  12. The 261 issues have not been sorted, its not sortable, more power through the same bearing, it will always be a problem. I'm never met a professional user who owns a 241. The 66 is a very, very good saw, with no really problems, IMO, other than the lack of twist caps. So of cause people are sorry to see it go. But yes your right we need to give this saw a chance, I genuinely hope its great
  13. I think the jaw type are better, the simply hold the log by the end. You can cut to what ever size you want and the logs just fall to the floor.
  14. I've never used one, just remember some people saying the fall apart. My 66 was new in 1999, its was my only large saw for many years, its not used that much these days, but is still in perfect working order and its have very little spent on it over the years. These new saws may run OK, but how hard wearing are they? Not such a big problem with small saws, but big saws work hard, get hot etc.
  15. I seem to recall you said the 201 was too "plasticy".
  16. I heard an interesting program on the radio a while back, according to them the Mafia are heavily involved in the wind turbine industry, milking the EU subsidies. The sooner we get out of the whole corrupt den of thieves that is the EU the better.
  17. Why is OK to ship oil and coal, but not chip/timber??
  18. I've had the throbbing in the night. I remember one occasion, I ended up naked in the garage, in the middle of the night heating a needle with with the oxy/gas torch, the relief when the blood spurts is almost orgasmic.
  19. Must be incredibly labour intensive making the matches:001_huh: Do you think you'll turn a profit??? .
  20. If its raining or looks like rain, forget it.
  21. Think I'll buy another 66 before they stop being available.
