  1. Nope, did you not leave someone on site???
  2. I have a 400U, its a unimog front mount machine, I've always run it with the 1000 PTO, at around 1800 engine revs.
  3. I'm sorry but this is the reason this county is in the state its in, the scum rely on people being scared or "not wanting to get involved" which allows them to carry on with their criminality unimpeded:thumbdown:
  4. Brilliant!!! The picture of that cretin with his legs and arm in pot is priceless!!!
  5. Its very strange how quickly you adapt and change to this new diet, I was a total coffee addict, but since giving up milk I found black instant coffee unpalatable (I don't take sugar in drinks) and making real coffee was a bit of a fag. I am now loving lemon tea or my real favourite just now is Twinning's liquorice tea, it delicious!!!
  6. That will be because Stihl will have patented their design, Husky are trying to make their caps look similar without breaching the patent.
  7. I does not offend me in anyway, they are making the point that the bars are not painted, so in affect "naked" and in their opinion beautiful.
  8. Thats not exactly "gynaecological"
  9. The stolen saw was only 8 month old, I change them ever 18 months to 2 years, I though I would try the 540 because of all the hype plus I despise their no posting policy (even though it does not affect me) The 540 has more power, but I agree with Mark that the 201 feels better and the tank is bigger.
  10. If you don't change your saws for more than 14 years I doubt Stihl will loose any sleep over you going to another brand:lol:
  11. I am finding a little lemon in my tea very nice, I found it a little bitter without milk.
  12. Totally agree Plus who wants to get into retail and the hassle it entails:thumbdown:
  13. Spot on!!! My 201 was stollen, I replaced with a 540 and agree with every thing you have posted here
  14. Not sure people have noticed this thread is 2 years old.
  15. Smaller quantities should be more expensive not less. I sell larger none processor size mixed hardwood for £35 per tonne by the arctic load.
  16. If you are talking hardwood, I wish you were nearer, I'd buy all you had!!!
  17. I'm selling possessor size mix of Ash, Alder, Sycamore, a little Oak and Willow for £45 per tonne.
  18. You are a member of the Trading Standards Scheme or Trading Standards Approved, you can't be part of Trading Standards, its a government body.
  19. Personally I much prefer them to eat it rather than a lot of the sweets and fizzy pop that they do eat, but they are growing and so I don't feel the high calories they are eating will harm them and hopefully once they are older they will take charge are there own bodies and control their own diets accordingly. Hopefully mine and my wife's example will help them see its important to look after your body. Its already worked with my 16 year old son, who used to be rather cubby (which I was very straight with him about) he fasts most weeks and had got his weight down nicely and maintains a heathy weight dispite being an academic with a pretty sedentary life stile. As for fasting being a fad, thats a myth, its been extremely common down through time, often of necessity and its heath benefits are IMO more than proven.
  20. I think the has to be an issue with some people damaging the caps by not fitting them correctly. I've had at least 7 different saws with the new caps and never had a single issue. They are not slow or fiddly, you simply put them in the hole at the correct position, push firmly and twist.
  21. I guess Stihl should have made a separate range of saws with the old "simple" screw caps, for those who struggle with complex things, they could call it the………………."Dim range"
  22. Last years extended winter really hit people in the pocket, fuel prices where at a whole time high and people found it very difficult to cope. So far this winter we have won back a great deal of what we lost last year, I hope this mild weather continues and hard hit families get a break for once, a cold winter and high energy bills could easily jeopardise our fragile economic recovery.
  23. Are you sure yours is a genuine Stihl??? and not a Chinese copy????? What your describing sounds terrible, but I've been using the new caps since they first came out and have never had an issue, IMO they are a huge step forward, no need to keep a combi spanner with the fuel, no wear to the caps where the screwdriver has to be applied. They are fantastic
