  1. Not sure thats a merc original, can the cab move independently to the silencer box??
  2. Its probably just taken untill now for if to dry out completely and the bacteria to die off, lets hope the smell does not return in the damp of the winter. Years ago we had a problem with rats, I trapped many and then put down poison, one must have died under the upstairs floor, the smell was appalling for about three week, I presume this is how long it took for the body to dry out and mummify.
  3. I think this is true. A mate of mine is a fencing contractor, he hit a gas main while pulling out old steel posts. He did not have a map of the services, his insurance Co walked away
  4. Personally, I don't believe the story as told.
  5. I think he mean you take under your tax code as salary and the rest of your income as a dividend, this what I do, as I run a limited Co.
  6. Yes I think the £38K I heard was average household income, not wage, but in my house they are the same thing, hence my error.
  7. But its better than digging a ditch.
  8. Indeed and some must be earning little more than the lads they employ
  9. It was £25k 25 years ago, has it really only gone up by £1K:001_huh:
  10. Don't be sorry, you have all that lovely countryside, who needs money when you can enjoy that for free
  11. Given some of the quotes some potential customers are claiming to have had, I can only assume the answer is yes. Are people really happy to run their own business and make less than an average wage???
  12. You're sticking with Barmers then?? Oh well, thats me out.
  13. I've never known them so late or at least so far behind the Oak.
  14. There was a guy a few posts back who worked all week for £2, so £80 a day is top dollar for some
  15. Me too, I would have shredded the consent and informed the TO of the fact
  16. U2100's are a beast, short wheelbase, big axels and the big engine:thumbup1:
