  5. I think land based training in Wokingham might do it
  6. Sorry might have got the wrong end of the stick, when quoting for jobs go by £250 a guy a day so two blokes £500. If he's subbing in prob a bit less. £250 for truck chipper and gm and the climbers day rate.
  7. Seems to be about £500/600
  8. Ps had a **** year, my gf was in a coma for two months and one of my dogs was killed in a car crAsh with the ex driving and then a whole host of things on top of that so it's been pretty crap! I can run you through what treelife goes through in the day so you know what to expect but I'd learn the 5837 doc inside out before you go!
  9. Hi Al, hope it didn't come as odd harsh as I didn't mean it that way, I'd honestly say get on a course with tree life and Google for the documents and have a read through what other people have done or I can give you some. Do you have the 5837 document?
  10. The development survey in the Techcert management day was the most failed!
  11. I have done the treelife course as well as the Techcert and would recommend treelife but there's a whole lot more to doing a day course and banging these out professionally.
  12. I have the Haglof clinomiter but it's a pain to use with having to keep measuring out distances. I like using the true pulse ones!
  13. I did mine with Land Based Training near Arborfield in Berkshire which was run by Guy Watson and they have another coming up!
  14. Any one starting at Syston?
  15. If you were to do the level six and compleat it is there any cross over to the BSC to get the degree or would you have to take the whole course?
  16. Gheez, sorry to here that! how are all these motors getting stolen, were the keys in it?
  17. I remember that and the only reason he was able to pull it down was that he had permission of the home owner which was the council. If it had been a private house he wouldn't have been able to do what he did!
  18. I did mine, it's pretty simple, just unbolt it all and put the new one in. Take some pics as you go!
  19. I charge £60 for applications. If the client goes with me the £60 comes off the cost of the job, if they then choose to go with some one else I invoice the £60 and I let the council tree department know that I won't be carrying out the work so that if the quality of the job isn't great they don't think I have done it.
  20. Ah I see thanks, I'm tired and thought I was trying to down load PDF's of the book but I realise now that it's a site you can search for the info. Thanks for posting up, it's a great find!
  21. How do we down load it?
  22. Protection dog work and door work.
  23. Yes the dog box is a CAB arborist😊 Those boxes are top quality and very good!
  24. Looks like a cab transit box?
