Plus that new Spiderjack is almost 500 grams. But i like say try it out.

With the Spiderjack there's two separate movements opening and then braking. One too many for my liking. Anything else zigzag , friction hitch and lockjack one movement. My next purchases will be a rope wrench or a zigzag. But do try , before you buy.

I washed my Tachyon rope with 60 degrees centigrade , afterwards it was stretchy and had lost its firmness.

I've used a few different makes before , all adequate. But the Silky cuts so smooth the extra 15 pounds you pay is well invested. I'm talking from a climbers opinion.
