    I've used spikes for ascending once or twice in twenty years. Couldn't set a ascending line in a Black Locust , once at the top the spikes get lowered down.

    Stupid Price for the Silky Saw . Hit a nail and it’s finished. No idea , maybe different saws . The ones you’ve found are probably carpenters saws. The second link for the Silky is more for green wood.

    The German address on the blade will be a distributor not the manufacturer. Unless its made in Germany they almost never reveal the country of origin.

    In my days of Kusche & Partner we had the grcs , but didn’t last long until the winch got bent. And was never repaired.
