  4. use butter or olive oil to get the sap off bro and watch out for the sap in the mid day sun-it can cause phytophotodermatitis basically a really bad sunburn if the uv rays catch it
  5. if you whip the eye on, make sure it doesnt look strong enough to climb on because if it is, it may get climbed on. i done it and accidently climbed on it and it happened to a friend as well.

  17. its pretty easy to set with just one throwline from the ground-im sure ive posted pics before on here
  18. Yeah i know it was a shame. the council were cool with it staying but the kids had started firing a big spud gun at the local houses so signed the death sentence themselves. it was about 10m up
  19. a fallen willow and a cool fallen gum
  20. Had to remove this cool kids treehouse on behalf of the council-felt like the evil council, knowing how the kids would feel. But was also quite fun knocking the **** out of it too.........
  21. looking out at rangitoto island from auckland domain suspended about 25m up between 2 pines enjoying some beers last night:001_smile: and some baby possums from today

i just use the big petzl carrytool instead of the small one, its way stronger and has a bigger gate so less fumbling.

    Descenders

jonos vid? we were mucking about in the trees, not working just having fun tryin new stuff, all the gear was so we didnt have to climb down if we forgot anything. and jono will agree-its the sketchiest climbin ive ever seen jono do!!
  24. what does the second little prussic do?
  25. i cant compare the meindls and gronells when it come to footlocking-the gronells kick arse. The soft rubber rand really grips the rope whilst the rand on the meindls seems slippy in comparison but if i had to choose one pair it would be the meindls due to chainsaw protection and the gronells will be worn out in 6 months
