  4. hey chewy, getting that ring spliced on will make it retrieve a heap better-the know may get it jammed up otherwise. you could however knot it and then tape it like crazy to ensure a smoother transition
  5. get a splicer to splice the large ring onto the blue tongue...
  6. and then it gets stuck on retrieval....
  7. tie some knots.. weird it doesnt come with instructions though

  9. Those pacific helmets are total rubbish if you ask me. My first alveo fell apart too but the 2nd generation seems to be holding up a lot better...

  11. hey bro, this is what i used to do before i went down to srt town. the ring helps stop some of the twist and limits the sitback of the hitch. give it atry, it may help

    Pretty easy to make the fimblesaver with no splicing so that cuts the price down.. Just need some 6mm and 8mm cord

  24. Wire bro. It's all I use from 6mm ov up to 24mm stable braid
  25. Milford sound is rated one of Te worlds great wonders- def worth a visit and stay in the cabins en route. The sound is home to very rare dolphins. Areas around chch Are beautiful and spend some time to visit a city recovering from major earthquakes- a humbling experience. West coast of s island is part of the amazing drive across Arthur's pass and down to q town- its rugged for sure and the area around haast is awesome. But each to there own, I live in the north island but absolutely love driving around Te s island
