  3. we bought a dunsley which are made about 3 miles away but saved £300 buying of the internet and had to be delivered from wales so work that one out the delivery driver could not

  10. have just made a box to fit the capstan as it was all being carried in a bread crate and starting to show signs of damage how do you all transport yours and like you i would have to buy another if this one got trashed or nicked they are a very versatile tool and has saved many times the cost
  11. i only have a lickle winch and that was at home i was told the tree had fallen over which is not untrue but a better description would of been handy. this was a regular customer

  15. lockjack spiderjack or shunt for us on all our systems i think we need crabs at either end but am willing to be proven wrong
  16. we fill a 17 tonner most days and use hiab for timber as a 3 man team we are more profitable than the ldv team even taking costs into account and its impossible to overload us and no probs with how much kit we take the ldv only takes minimal kit whereas i can take 2 flasks and my wallet

  19. is this the type of thing your on about have climbed from this for years a 120cm dyneema sling larks footed into 4 strands which means under testing you can cut 3 and still not hit the deck then covered with a sip slong which holds it all together and has a couple of thin layers of kevlar and if you did catch with a saw it would spin around the sling
  20. this may come with the rigging research due out soon august i think but not sure

  23. i always enjoy climbing in the wind so when you come down you start swaying life needs challenges or would be bored and at least when its windy no mewps in sight ye ha
