    SRT Setup

i do not see how putting a crab through top hole will stop it opening as it opens downhill i have used a similar system but used a shunt instead of the croll which is not quite as efficient but imo lots safer i believe the backing up of assenders with a blakes hitch to back it up is becoming good practice
  2. no they would not sell the wheelhorse does exactly what they want cracking little thing really pulls my chipper better than i thought it would

  16. lockjack spiderjack or shunt for us on all our systems i think we need crabs at either end but am willing to be proven wrong
  17. we fill a 17 tonner most days and use hiab for timber as a 3 man team we are more profitable than the ldv team even taking costs into account and its impossible to overload us and no probs with how much kit we take the ldv only takes minimal kit whereas i can take 2 flasks and my wallet
  18. they are also hoping that other utility companys and local authorities adopt this system
  19. what,s that overloaded before we start chipping or even as i get to work. Am i the only one that has a brew when arrive at work and another when arrive at site:001_tt1:
  20. is this the type of thing your on about have climbed from this for years a 120cm dyneema sling larks footed into 4 strands which means under testing you can cut 3 and still not hit the deck then covered with a sip slong which holds it all together and has a couple of thin layers of kevlar and if you did catch with a saw it would spin around the sling
  21. this may come with the rigging research due out soon august i think but not sure
  22. i will be there as well cheers nod the only shiny kit i hate is a new mewp
  23. would it spoil the system to replace torse and croll with a shunt clipped straight to the front d
  24. i always enjoy climbing in the wind so when you come down you start swaying life needs challenges or would be bored and at least when its windy no mewps in sight ye ha
