  8. I have run my 372xpg with a 24" b/c today for 5 hours blocking up some 70cm to 100cm diameter Birch and it did it fine but if that kind of cutting would be something I did every day I would opt for a larger saw like a 390xpg or something in that class !!
  9. Do you got a picture of the clutch side of the 181 ??
  10. If you want to get the most out of your muffler mod you at least need to enlarge existing whole/wholes inside the muffler, best is if you can get rid f the wall inside it. A dremel and a cordless drill is what I use to mod my mufflers
  11. Yes it is, I ordered one from my dealer as they are totaly hollow, which means no gutting out the muffler the us one are a very easy muffler to mod, I did a euro muffler (pipe) and thier is allot more work to mod them as their is a "middle wall" in them that you have to gutt out to max the flow. the euro muffler I modded did work just as fine as the us one, but I sold that saw so thats why I did a new one to new 372xpg I bought
  12. This is how I made my 372xpg muffler.
  13. Whats wrong with your saw ?? Or do you just not like it
  14. All the time when I run a saw, Husky stretch pants, helmet and a pair meindl chainsaw boots. one bad cut and you can be out of buissnes for a couple of years ,,,, or longer !!
  15. It looked liked it was Robert running that harley saw !?
  16. here is a link to some workshop manuals http://www.gardening-tools-direct.co.uk/content/husqvarna_workshop_manuals.htm
  17. A friend had a 357xpg etech with same problem, it needed more fuel on the low-jet ,,, if the saw/saws have a carb with limiters on the screws I recommend you to cut off the tabs/wings on the screws so you can set the carb as you like !
  18. The only promise i'm gonna make is to buy me new saw a 390xpgw And if I don't keep that promise the wife will only happy ,,,,,,,,
  19. I got a Stihl EDT-7 Tachometer and it's a nice help to have when setting a saw up but you also need to listen to the saw and make some test cuts with it to see if the saw works at it's best !!
  20. got the "waulaufers pro" from Meindl also very comfy:)
  21. Could not find a pair of them in Sweden but would have bought a pair if I could, they look nice and comfortable to me !!
