Had a long weekend in Catania once over. Went to Agrogenta, world heritage site, amazing! Picked up a cone from one of the Pine trees and took it home to harvest the seeds. I split the seeds up and some I gave to Mother, a trained Horticulturist and I stratified some and tried several different protocols. Non of mine took and one of hers did which she had just plonked in a seed tray! Grew this until it was two foot tall and we had a planting ceremony in their garden when I had my first post pandemic weekend with them. Chuffing deer ate the top out that night! Regrettably, they moved and the tree stayed. If you get there Charlie, grab us a cone or two please?

Update on the car thing. Tom's insurer reckon that the claim will go nowhere and they aren't likely to settle. Apparently 'your word agin theirs' means that nowt will happen! Unless there is a camera available and, apparently, Highways don't like revealing camera footage, it will be a case of the Asian chap saying that Tom drove into him and his wife will confirm! I just told Tom to leave the battle scars there and get the suspension/wheel checked and suck it up....

Sadly, no. No witness stopped. Police did call by just as he had gone but didn't want to looking good for him and suggested that the insurers would deal with it. Ut once he has got the details, they may interview the driver for leaving the scene..... Car is not worth much and he just spent £1500 replacing engine and gearbox!

Morning All, hope Jack's settlement is good! Tom got side swiped on the way back from Goodwood. Asian family in a small car ran across the chevrons on an exit and into his car, didn't want to stop, then stopped a mile away and blamed him for running into him, refused to co operate then left without leaving many details. I reckon the race card will come out and the husband/wife will lie and win! Steal, Ice, Ban.

Humph. Up and awake. She stressing about small claims court we got on. Letter arrived while we were away stipulating that we needed to do something by the 4th or the case would be stacked! Begging the Judges indulgence by letter is the next plan! Wally, Sand, Grommet.

Not a cloud in the sky after a week of pretty mixed weather! Drive across Croatia to the airport then back to Stansted early evening then up the A1 to Retford! Be good y'all! Planes, Tiling.

Last full day in Croatia, may go to island of Krk and lie in the sun for a couple of hours. Tom and Bad Apple Racing are off to some static show at Goodwood circuit for Retro Rides magazine for tomorrow. House empty when we get back, hope he has cleaned the place! Tapped, Answer.

Had a few beers in a street bar before supper and feel it! Had a fantastic pizza at dinner so didn't want a big supper but had beer instead followed by a sandwich! Sigh, love, own.

Morning Team! Off to see some more of Croatia. Town called Pula has a decent Roman amphitheatre and Colesseum, then battlements etc. Doubtless a cafe or two too. For, Lass, Leak.
