  1. Nicely done. The prize list just gets longer too. Brilliant.

Hang on - I'll just go and look! Mick, do you still use Oil of Ulay? and was that a Jack Wills bag I saw?
  3. Right peoples, I am going to be looking for a company with the resources and passion to be a GreenMech machinery dealer in South Yorkshire. Who do you use in that area for service work on machinery?, who do you buy your arb kit from locally?, which machinery dealers do you rate in the area?. Answers on a postcard please.......nah, just post here!
  4. Blimey! My 40foot shipping container was £600 delivered! That was 15 years ago but inflation ain't that bad surely.
  5. I've met Jack Kent on a couple of occasions going back some 20 odd years:sneaky2:
  6. Nice stunt fell! Did Eric to the advisory on the gob? The owner wanted the timber, did you chip or burn?
  7. Always replace V belts as a matched set, whatever the machine. By the look of it Rob, yours has suffered either a slack belt or got burnt with something stopping the drum when you try to start it. Other than that - all okay?

I like the way we take on another military burden when there are great cutbacks within the services and huge deficits with the home budget. Is this another case of diverting the voters attention? That having been said, Muammer Gadafi sponsored the IRA throughout the troubles and was responsible for Lockerbie amongst many other atrocities.
  9. Great bunch of wags! I've tried girlfriends and wives and a machine is definitely cheaper and more reliable. Smeg were too dear and the name makes me titter. A dishwasher fills the hole under the worktop. And its good for cleaning bits off the hotrod. Their is something about Marigold gloves or is it the smell of rubber on your hands:blushing: Justin, a dishwasher is a storage cupboard for dirty crockery. Got a Kenwood in the end.
  10. I rate the "Borne" films, scary when you think that that sort of activity is real!
  11. Flaming dishwasher blew up! Time to buy a new integrated unit - what do you recommend?
  12. I'll look at the make of sweatshirt that I used for Barrowcliff's. I folded that up over 12 years ago and gave one to Big Pete Nielson at GreenMech and he has worn it everyday since then, so you could say that they are hard wearing!
  13. Mark Lowndes at M and H Arb runs predatorparts.com so he should be able to give some sensible admit.
  14. Alan has been in the trade for many years, other people who do refurbs (total) include Thorne Engineers at Wheldrake near York, Global Sales in Brum have done a couple and I think Teeside Woodchippers have done a couple too. We have a couple which we can sell through our dealers but we tend to do the mechanical stuff more than the aesthetics.
  15. Hey Johnny, who is the official Carlton dealer? I did hear that is Dave Kendal still, what is he like for spares and service?
  16. MOT for trailers? ID for trailers? Coming soon to an EU country near you! and sooner than you think! That'll take your mind of all the worlds problems. (seen what happened in Basildon today?)
  17. A short wheelbase, a heavy tow and the snakes mean disaster! Go for a longer wheelbase and they tend to be easier to control.
  18. As far as I'm aware, only the LandRover range can tow 3.5t in that range of vehicle. Can you imagine that much behind a 90! Now that would be a tad scary at times.!
  19. Please expand on your thoughts. I'm sure we are all interested.
  20. 300hrs on the clock is pretty immaterial. It might have done many '000s of mile on rough tracks etc.
  21. Are you giving it best then?
  22. I reckon that has been for sale on and off since it was new. There cannot be many of them about and I seem to remember someone saying that it needed a hell of a big tractor to carry it with grace.
  23. Hi JLTree, have a look on the GreenMech website and amongst the headings is all our brochures. That'll start you rolling. CHeers
  24. 2007 with 300hrs. Wow, someone has been working that baby hard. Genuine hours?
