  1. Just got back from my yard, snow ploughs not been down that dead end road so snow had drifted 3' deep in places, truck just went straight through it all. Still, does me no good if I can't get my bucket truck and chipper out of the yard though eh! Got a couple of downed trees to look at tomorrow, both failed in the snow storm. Hoping to get them lined up and cleared on Saturday, my Latinos just love working in the snow. Another pic of my truck in the snow a couple of years ago..
  2. If you hold it just right, you can make a semi auto AK 'bump fire'. This guy has the exact AK setup that I have... [ame] [/ame]
  3. Yep, it's only semi-auto but you can rattle off that 30rnd mag as quick as you can squeeze the trigger. AKs are not known for their accuracy (if I want accuracy I'll reach for the Remington 700p) but when you pull it out it WILL raise some eyebrows....all the Homies and Gang members 'round here know the distinctive shape of an AK.
  4. Dodge 2500 Power Wagon. 5.7L Hemi engine, diff lockers front and rear, stearing sway bar disconnect (giving 32" of front axle articulation), Warn 12,000lb winch, 35" BFG mud terrains, custom rock rails. I've used/driven all of 'em over the years; Landies, Toyota Land Cruisers, Nissan Patrols etc. and the Power Wagon certainly holds it's own when compared to those...I love it.....
  5. Not an air rifle in sight.....From the top; .308 (7.62 NATO) Remington 700p in a Bell & Carlson stock, barrel cut to 22", 10 rnd mag conversion, Badger tactical knob, () Leupold 4.5-14X50 'scope, Harris bi-pod; FN SLP (self loading police) semi auto 12g shotgun; Mossberg 500 12g pump action; AK47 (with telescopic stock); Ruger 10/22 with mental 25 rnd mag.....
  6. We got hammered yesterday and last night...over 1' of snow. The snow ploughs push all the snow into banks by the side of the road, everyone is digging out this morning....except me, I just drive over or through the banks. Note that the roads actually get ploughed over here, last time my parents had heavy snow in Surrey......there was not a snow plough to be seen.
  7. Cups of tea and fancy cakes from customers are few and far between 'round this way I tell ya!
  8. Get used to it mate.....'cause that's 90% of arb work! Nice reduction on the Cedar though.
  9. I miss the English countryside!
  10. I worked for an old guy recently who landed on both Iwo Jima and Okinawa..........talk about hair raising stories. Sat and chatted with him for over an hour, what a geezer!
  11. Worked for Windsor Davis years ago. He's funny!
  12. Cool....send me a bag of Monster Munch can ya......please?
  13. You still have Monster Munch over there? And Trios were indeed great munchy food.
  14. Wrecking a couple of white oaks today with a bunch of crazy Salvadorians........had a right laugh!! Rigging the one that arched over the neighbour's house was a pain in the balls....
  15. And when you've perfected that winch Brendon, you can make me one for my Woodsman..........please! There could be a log burner in it for ya!
  16. Yeah I know mate and I can see where you are coming from. Would be a real good way to piss off the bible thumping 'creationists' over here though............and believe me, there's loads of them. Plus the fact, putting an Englishman on a US currency bill/note would definitely raise some eye brows.....Ben Franklin and his mates kicked 'us lot' out.......with the help of the Frogs of course. Anyway, is it still snowing over with you?
  17. $1, $5, $10, $20, $50 and $100 all have different presidents on 'em. Sorry for the derail...
