  9. It's hard to find a decent place to look at clock faces, as they never look as good as the picture does. Try carving the numbers in for the next one, should be fun

  16. Some people use sanding sealer first then the lacquer, sanding sealer acts like a base coat, but I don't I just take my time on the sanding first and get it perfect then lacquer.
  17. I would personally keep the bark on and would use acrylic gloss lacquer, this is what I use Chestnut Products - First for Finishes

  21. I always thought can wise red=leaded, green=unleaded, black= diesel so it can clearly be identified
