  1. ^ Agreed. Also, they've shot themselves in the foot by admitting their new structure is likely to damage a TPO'd tree.
  2. I think that the tree wins here. Surely it was noticed at the time of rebuilding. If the garage owner had submitted an app prior to works, then it might be contestable. Can't see a reason why the tree should suffer eitherway.
  3. Aye, `in real life, you don't want to be re wrapping trees.
  4. Post brexit, people will have eaten the deer. It makes sense to guard against rabbits in the interim.

I'd be inclined to follow what it says on the tin. Saying that a 576 is the biggest saw I've had, and that was used when I got it.
  6. https://www.treestuff.com/store/catalog.asp?item=1217 ^ Is worth a punt. Add some throwline to the order to make it worth your while.
  7. While I agree with the sentiment, I don't think euthanasia is the word you're looking for. Euthanasia is an act of compassion.

    Jokes???

A woman is sitting at her deceased husband's funeral. A man leans in to her and asks, "Do you mind if I say a word?". "No, go right ahead", the woman replies. The man stands, clears his throat, says "Plethora", and sits back down. "Thanks", the woman says, "that means a lot",
  11. Cracking solo.
  12. I like that. I'm really surprised it hasn't been done before. There's a canny few times one of those would have been useful.
  13. People who don't do tree work often have no idea of the danger of a work site. A canny few people who do tree work are also afflicted by the same syndrome. When I started tree work there were no mobile phones to distract people, now it's a double whammy. All you can do is be careful and trust whoever is on the deck to do the best job they can. Bearing in mind there will always be someone who will be oblivious of the signs/cones/noisy machinery etc.
