  1. My goal is to be home before noon.
  2. A Poo-Lawn! Like a hot knife thru butter!
  3. It's beautiful, mang!
  4. It sounds like they gave you a barium enema. They didn't do that to me. The barium smacks of something more serious that they're concerned about. Good luck.
  5. You can't work on an offshore platform w/o heels on your steel toe boots. Flat soles are unacceptable.
  6. Hel l yea it is!
  7. Wow. It looks like steel is the way to go!
  8. So post em!
  9. His last cut was how he shoulda been making all the cuts. I guess he was late for a wedding or something!
  10. Fishhook trees!
  11. First off, it's NOT called a blade, it's called a tooth or a cutter. The most important things to me are lots of light and a secure filing station, like a vise.
  12. Always heels. Heels prevent slipping in more ways than one.
  13. The weight you can lift is dependant upon the angle and distance. There is no set number. I tie my climb line into a shackle above the ball, but if I have to I'll tie into the hook.
  14. Nothing fancy, just some cool shots of me hanging out. Since I can't upload the pics here I'll have to post links. http://www.gypoclimber.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=17572&d=1200085537 http://www.gypoclimber.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=17573&d=1200085581 http://www.gypoclimber.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=17574&d=1200085621 http://www.gypoclimber.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=17575&d=1200085709 http://www.gypoclimber.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=17576&d=1200085755
  15. No, what I was saying is the people around here might WANT that done, but when they hear the price they change their minds. They want it done for nearly free. Since 9/11 people are hanging on to their money. Nobody spends money on trimming anymore. It's nearly all TD's nowadays. Ten years ago trimming was about all I ever did but times have changed a lot since then.
  16. We don't ever seem to do stuff like that in the states. People don't wanna pay anything for it.
  17. I think I am.
  18. Stick with Stihl.
  19. Wreck the sucker!
  20. Sometimes they'll listen.
  21. That's BS.

  23. So I guess it's a 'lil bit different over there. Here you can buy all you can afford to buy and (for the most part) do what you want on it. The most successful tree guys dump on their own land, and that's a BIG plus.
  24. And of course it's not like that here-ah. So you can't build your home on your own land?
