  2. you should see the pile of wood from that job, the house is oil and wood fired so they wanted absolutely everything
  3. a builder we do some work for asked me to put up the frame for a treehouse on some high conifer stumps. we actually took one of the trees down recently to the hieght that the other stems had been left at. the builder wanted us to put upthe initial frame then his guys are going to joist and board out the rest bit of fun and something different. apologies for the poor photo qaulity, these were taken on my phone

  5. but if they are working under your instruction then you need employers liability
  6. Acer sacharinium reduction from today, our second of 3 jobs. rubbish anchor point after previous poor pruning:thumbdown: and lots of tall thin regrowth. bark was very thin. nice day for a silky and secateur climb
  7. depends
  8. the bungee cord keeps the croll upright and close to your chest the 2 biners connect either side of the bridge
  9. id come for a climb given a bit of notice
  10. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/climbers-talk/17022-srt-setup-eddie.html this setup is very similar to the ones matt and chris use, infact matt was a major influence in the refineing of my srt setup, as mine looked like something from scrap heap challenge before his input
  11. paul your efforts were greatly appriciated over the duration of the show. i came to find you to say thanks when i left so i hope the girl passed the message on i had a great time many thanks john
  12. cant fault mine, had it 2 years or so. when mine finally retires il probably replace it with another unless something else comes to the market
  13. i thought the picture with the blue poly prop was a set up...then realised you were actually rigging with it
  14. i always cut the bottom half inch off the bottom of my silky scabards as it stops them filling up with sawdust

  19. cool
  20. treeworker sell goggles at the shows
  21. your hand goes through the hollow braid loop in the top of the ascender, so when you climb hand over hand the ascender advances
  22. the krabs clip into each bridge attachment point on the treemotion as there is no dedicated srt attachment point the hand ascender is really only there to back up the croll and carry the footloop, you climb hand over hand on the climbing line
  23. pine fresh certainly and dont talk to me about bloody sap. for some reason the grub screws in the pulley on the back of the fly wheel keep loosening and then the pulley shifts backwards and forwards and causes the belts to throw
