    3 cubes, 6 Harrison rockets and a throwpod, petzl airline in my falteimer with a rocket and throwpod and zing it with rockets in the other cubes. tend to use 10 or 12s but have got a 16 if needed in the truck somewhere

    I've got an valmet 8100 with a crane on a jake plate. I use it for arb and site clearance and don't find visibility an issue, sure id like it to lift more, but that's always going to be the case

    Mike I climb trees and put them on the ground, sometimes they are lowered, sometimes they are speedlined and sometimes I just drop them. In nearly a decade of doing this I've managed to not kill myself and unbelievably I've never used or needed a computer to work out wether it's going to be ok There is such a thing as overcomplicating things and I'm not really sure why your trying to play a game of oneupmanship by asking people who believe there is a similar and equally practical way of doing the job to solve your rigging calculations. You seem to enjoy alienating people by preaching how superior you are

    Keep it simple, a very effective speed line can be setup with minimal kit. Ie an old climbing line tensioned with a truckers hitch And a selection of karabiners and slings

    you can easily do a 2ft stump with a carlton 900 with a decent greenteeth setup, infact when I bought my first grinder id tackle anything and did a 38inch beech stump in under 3 hours, it just depends how much you like hard work you obviously know far more than myself about the subject though

    I should also add that for 2-3k you will get a dog of a 20hp machine. 2k will get you a decent carlton 900

    can you chuck yours onto of a load of chips and timber? didn't think so ive had many grinders from small petrol to large diesel 4wd machines my favourite to date is the carlton 900

    get a 13hp carlton 900 20hp grinders are a waste of time imo, to big to lift onto the back of a truck, but not big enough to make a difference

    in 2 years of owning a grcs ive never used the bollard, always rig onto the winch

    really pleased with my sugihara bars of which ive got 3 now. the 13inch bar on my 346xp is used and abused daily by the whole team and is showing little sign of wear

    I think a compact tractor would be to big my boxer is versatile, it runs a grab, bucket, stump grinder, log splitter and mulching head
