Spoke to the boss of a tree firm today, he told me the rates for a reasonable subi climber here (I'm one hour north of Sydney) are charging on average 650 bucks per day and climber doesnt drag or feed the chipper, a really top gun is on 800 per day, don't sell yourselves short guys. Climbers do however provide all own kit
  3. I'd be wanting compensation, did a new lawn once through insurace co because of cows

  7. With the Hilux being possibly out of my price range I'm now looking at either a Mitsubishi L200 (known as a Triton where I'm going) or an Isuzu D-max, I hope to buy new or good second hand Anyone have a preference or any first gand experience with either truck? Many Thanks Lee

  12. Yes mate I'll still be in the decompaction and air excavation business, we will have an office in Brisbane run by my son and one in Sydney run by my brother inlaw, we won't be coming back mate, won't be able to afford to lol Good luck with your move nate, where are you going?
  13. When I was younger there was no way I could of lived in Oz, but now I'm getting on it appeals more and more, especially as I'm a fanatical angler and boater. Luckily my kids want to come to. London will however remain my favourite city on earth, Sydney etc aren't a patch on the Big Smoke. I like the UK even with all its faults , i know Australia isn't utopia, its just different.

  23. Hervey bay/The Wide Bay region is one of if not the fastest growing region in Australia. I shall definitely be heading over to Fraser island cheers Lee
  24. No mate we've never got as far up as Hervey Bay, but I love fishing and basically chose it for that lol, If we don't like it we'll head elsewhere, but I'm sure we'll like it.
