  1. 75k Dollars for one of them out here...
  2. Gritting isn't a big earner, if they aren't far away you'll squeeze £50 ( per hour) out of them max per visit. I personally wouldn't go spending big bucks on a fancy spreader, I'd consider a cheap snow plow though..
  3. I bet you won't see much change out of 50k for one of them
  4. Thanks mate we're definitely going to get my daughter tested
  5. Thanks guys the quack came out and thinks its only an insect bite, however its not itchy like a mozzie or painful like and ant bite, we've got to keep an eye on it he said. I'll get her up our usual doc. The mark was definitely a bulls eye but now it looks more like an insect bite, a tick killed a friend's dog here
  6. Tar and precoated chip two layers all the farm tracks out here are hot tar and chip
  7. I wouldn't touch one with a barge pole, Nissan really have let themselves down by getting into bed with renowned French rubbish Renault. Hino, Toyota, Isuzu or Mitsubishi for light trucks imo
  8. Funny this thread should be up now my youngest daughter has got a ''Bulls eye rash'' and seeing the doc in a few minutes as its a symptom of Lymes Disease that is over here in QLD
  9. The biggest cut I've seen over here had to be over 4' across it was a hideous sight..
  10. Whats wrong with the FM Radio App on your phone, I can get about 20,000 station's from across the world
  11. Cookies must be enabled. | The Australian They aren't prepared out here lol
  12. I made a fortune out of selling logs by the net i was getting double the price compared to a three cube load, i delivered but i had a minimum of 10 bags
  13. The trouble is these days dog muck seems to be an increasing problem
  14. Yep no way am i dealing with other people's dog turds....
  15. Todays job was one of the worst in 25 years, told them to call me when its all gone
  16. Parking is your biggest problem in Knightsbridge. You'll have to organize 2 suspended bays and they take a week to organize and they cost, then you need to figure out access most of my many many jobs in this area most have needed access through the house
  17. Bosses how are you tackling the problem of heavily pooped gardens? I went to a big garden today and it was choka not a square metre clear! I find customers vary some understand and clear it up others can get very put out and defensive when requested to clear it up. With work getting tighter and social media so popular etc I find it a tricky one. But I still refuse to get covered in carp for any amount of money, and I certainly wouldn't expect employees to work in situations that I wouldn't work in. Views please
  18. I've been speaking to a few local business owners here lately and they are all saying the last month has been the quietest for years. Lots of bad news in the global economy of late, China's stocks are dropping like hot rocks and Greece is another problem. Iron ore prices from here have dropped significantly. Then the UK has got the referendum!
  19. Hervey bay is blessed climate wise. Sadly its not the same economicly its a bit tought up here. I've just bought a small sail boat so I'll be sailing over to Fraser a bit more, its a great place you just need to be very vigilant of the dingos Rainbow Beach is a very small place two or three pubs and a few shops not much else.
  20. Over here your a Tree Lopper, I hate that term so much
  21. I got about 25 on average out of my 2008 single cab tipper, it was by far the most thirsty 4x4 I've owned
  22. I knew a firm from East Finchley they were stacked with work and charged a grand a day, but then he's primarily construction related. I guess like everything the rates seem to be dropping like a stone, its odd because everything else is going up..
  23. London rates in 2013 for one truck 2 men and a chipper we're around £1000 per day, I certainly wouldn't work for any less
  24. I dont think the little 6 inch chippers and 18 ton splitters would appreciate Red River Gum lol
