  9. How have you made it water resistant? Or haven't you?
  10. Not wanting to turn this into a political debate, but another reason I don't vote Lib, Lab, Con and will vote for almost any alternative party or independent, is because the main three partys are far too soft on crime! I know several coppers, I can't tell you how frustrated they are with the system, the courts are a joke! The entire system is a joke. Next time your at the ballot box maybe spare a thought on the last time you were turned over!
  11. Sorry if this sounds blunt mate, but imo you've left it too late. I mean do you actually know anything about tree biology? The modern arborist isn't just some climber with a saw. By the time you're what I call a competent arborist, you'll be getting on for 50
  12. After a very stormy night its all calm here on the eastern front.
  13. Windy here Jon very windy....
  14. I'm a member of a boat fishing forum, loads of very expensive outboards are being stolen from marinas and moored boats etc, one gang was caught they were eastern Europeans and the engines were going abroad. I'm with Andy Collins, a fair bit of knicked arb kit is being used in the UK but the majority I think is going abroad
  15. Staked sorry
  16. I'm pretty sure most dwarf rootstock trees remain stacked there entire life

  19. interesting thanks
  20. We agree for the first time in weeks Dave:laugh1: i agree not all people that knock your door, or say ''good morning'' are up to no good lol
  21. Interesting, funny I was admiring a very old Mulberry today, at some stage in its life it had gone over and a lateral branch had took over as its leading stem, quite a tolerant tree I would guess, especially after reading the report, which said they found no roots over 50mm
  22. I like a makita myself
  23. Put your ham on a trivet or wire rack, then fill pan with water.. My old granny used to cook individual meat puddings on a range/solid fuel cooker all cooked in a cloth the traditional way, she had to cook them individually because all family would come home at different times. The best old cafe we used to go in with my dad back in thd 70s everything was cooked on a coal range, proper good grub. I can cook on a campfire or a wood burner as well as I can on a gas cooker, sometimes better. But I grew up doing it, some of you have got to learn from scratch. The trick is to manage your heat, then anything is possible.
