  1. I have copy and pasted this post from the main waste transfer license thread as i am hoping that this is the general direction those who have shown interest, would like this issue to head. If this is a general basis for Paul to build a proposal, could people either agree or perhaps suggest any other issues they feel are important and have not been mention so far, and this important issue can move forward. Perhaps Paul could also share thoughts on this as a base for a proposal.
  2. He he, ha ha! Thought you'd have a better response than that little squirt. Come on give it another shot.... My smilies wont work again. Wanted to give you a waggly tongue!!!
  3. Is that why you still sell logs by the "one ton dumpy bag" Bob, as you can send anything out and its ok? I know this subject is a little repetative, but if i ordered a one ton bag of logs off you, i would expect a ton of logs to be dropped off!
  4. Ok, the way it was described to me was, if one trailer is suspended by another, or by the "tractor" it would become articulated. That is, it becomes one vehicle. That vehicle can then tow a trailer. BUT, as i said before, one trailer cannot tow another. It can carry one, but not tow one! Your interpretation of a "towball" is slightly different to that of the DVLA!
  5. Just because the DVLA say you dont need an extra license for this it doesnt mean its legaL VOSA, however, will not let you do this behind a Land Rover. One trailer cannot tow another. End of.
  6. Thats the one Nige' date=' we were called out to it and had to take out said bit of dead wood. Seems the squirt didnt finish the job! Here we are just tidying up. Must have just missed you:lol: [img']http://i496.photobucket.com/albums/rr323/18stoner/Image0238.jpg[/img]
  7. Is that another way of saying "an addiction to all things LR"? Lol!

  12. Cheers for that David, I'm going to have to go and hunt through the backs of my trucks:001_rolleyes: Starting to bug me now! Where's that torch:confused1:
  13. Try offering a bottle of strong stuff and explain if its left there it will rot as none of them there have a saw big enough to log it up! You might get lucky
  14. Same one as mine, think i paid £14 from machine mart. Works great. Come to think of it, not sure where mine is:dontknow:
  15. Their loss! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder:thumbup:
  16. Whats she like underneath Steve? Mileage?
  17. There is no reason why the WCL cannot be turned into a declaration the same as the WTL in my opinion. Also, in my opinion, a declassification should apply to any clean virgin arisings that are recycled into a product, therefore seperating the term "waste" from "recyclable". Perhaps the exemption could be called a "recyclable product carrier" Lol! Then, if you carry waste, you need to apply and pay for a WCL. If you only carry clean virgin arisings that are to be recycled, you need to apply for a free exemtion. However, an operator should still apply for a WCL if they are taking any virgin waste to landfill. I wonder if landfill sites should have a compulsary order on them to take down details of the operators WCL prior to tipping? I believe at present some ask for it, some dont. Feel free to comment.
  18. At £370 inc vat, i suppose you ordered a pallet load of them?
  19. IMHO, it would depend what type of pricing you are on. If you are hourly rate, it goes on the bill. If it was fixed price, this should have been quoted for, or not.
  20. Is it new? Think Bob is your man best to explain.
  21. I personally dont think you can put any of that down solely to a labour government.
